If you will do test very often, a batch file for removals is recommended.

I like to use the outdated ExplorerXP for browsing and ExecTI from winaero (Clanger recommends PowerRun) for Trusted Installer needs like running ExplorerXP. When running ExplorerXP, anything that runs from there, will run with the same credentials (as Administrator or Trusted Installer), also ExplorerXP has windows and shows real files and folders names, remember the last opened folder and can create folders' favorites list.

Once mounted the wim image, run ExplorerXP and you will be able to do anything you want to the files and folders, like copy the batch files inside the mounted image an run it or make the batch to work from its location but locate from ExplorerXP and run it.

Contextual menu is only seen in Win 7 (also Win 8 if it has classic theme), otherwise, in Win 10 the context menu can't show the text but if you know the option's position you want to use, it works ok, only the UI has the issue.

ExplorerXP is small (Small download size - only 410 KB), portable once installed.

English language use in the forums is recommended, isn't my native language but choice to use it.

Kasual I was thinking about an explorer type utility to run from Power Run yesterday, spooky o_O. Thanks bud :)
Great tool but as it is outdated (needs some UI compatibility fixes/update), I didn't share/recommend before. Explorer saves the size data in the file named DirSizeCache.dat and can be safely removed anytime. ExplorerXP can freeze in some scenarios, not sure if due to low resources (CPU, Drive, RAM or both).

You can have windows in tiles tabs, double click on the right side of the tab(s) to open new tabs, sometimes autorefresh will reorganize the windows and the highlighted will move to first position.
To select, click and drag and to move, select first (1 or more items) then drag, always pay attention to the highlighted window when using menu or toolbar.

Useful the option "Open command window here"

I'll give it a go and see. I use Everything search tool and when i need to access protected stuff i just drag it to Power Run UI, sofa sogood :)
