Ah you used my older profile. All those were more experimental than anything, was quite a noob back then :p

I think NTlite has ability to re-add component after install, personally the last time I tried this I had little luck :-(

You can try recreate LTSB and click VPN compatibility maybe it should add back the wan miniports and related connection stuff.

w8 i said i did both 1809 and 1607 profiles :p not only 1607 (i also did some search about some drivers and things beore doing it btw )

oh i forgot thanks i will try after getting more time

For the most part they save me from having to individually unhide power settings and delete tasks after install, etc. (As for the .NET optimization tasks, I have a system-wide ahk script does does a lot of manual stuff on boot including compiling .NET) :)

So far the build works better than I'd hope.

If you use RegConvert from Sordum you can right click a reg and convert it to a bat, or select all and convert. I take out the entries and skip the other bits sordum puts in cos i use power run.

Ah. I'd like to integrate as much as possible without relying on files as you'd also have to integrate those manually etc.. This gives me better overview. Although it becomes tedious to a point that I usually just edit the ntlite .xml directly. Those Index numbers are a pain tho.

I prefer to do it all post logon, with timeouts so nothing gets skipped, takes a while so thats when i have a tea/latty or wee break and when i come back it has restarted :)

Will do, and yes I've seen that video!

Mostly interested in his document, I must say it was merely to test but HPET is slow and on later Intel boards even detrimental (Like on my Z270G). So I tested his invariant TSC settings and it resulted it way better mouse polling and back to old W7 0.500/1.000 timer. From my former testing way back, W7 was behaving best with in-engine fps limiters which also showed 0.500/1.000ms. (FPS limiters were much less fluctuating).

Everything feels incredibly snappy. I've turned off my ISA bus completely pretty sure HPET falls under that too though.

MT_ Next update pack will be 3 reg files, 1 for hkcu ui tweaks, 1 for system hklm and 1 for system hkcu, all files will have hklm/or cr in the filename, some are combined, ie 4 for NTFS things. Take the current pack, rename it Archive(or Old as you prefer) and use the new layout.
I am going to rename packs "LTSC-TWEAK-PACK-A-DATE, LTSC-TWEAK-PACK-B-DATE" etc as i add new tweaks so just merge them.

Mhh yea i think youre right some of it can be combined indeed. Do you mind if I merge yours as well with mine? Because even if you merge yours, there's still a chance one of mine can be merged with those lol.

Let me finish this 1st batch of files and i'll have a thunk cos right now imbugadifino what todo for the best. My spare time is very limited and i dont want to make a rod for my back so it might be best to carry on independently and let users sort things out for themselves like we gotta.

Ofcourse. To be honest lots of reg files I eventually got figured out from others in time.. and they probably got them from somewhere as well. I don't think its feasible to make some kind of a 'standard' for them. Take whatever you think is useful, I'll do the same.

At the end of the day most NTLite builds with their included regs are for specific goals. But what you're doing by trying to index them and categorizing them etc is very handy for everyone to use :) In truth I'm merely a leecher for my own profile goals.

I often use procmon from systernals to figure out where its being written (If at all, some settings aren't even in registry anymore :-(

Stupid UWP crap :p

Cool stuff! Will check out. I did notice one or two errors in both of our packs, i think one dupe and one that was erroneous. It might have been ntfs compression or encryption? I should've written it down heh.

New update today, lots of new stuff! And description in reg's for @quo
Its a pain to get Post-setup to do what you want lol.

I had 5 entries for ntfs(4 now combined), one was for homegroup. I did point out some dupes and there is at least one conflicting one, i keep thumbnail cache, you delete it, will check them. post setup stuffs easy :)
