I'm unable to run my printer's (HP Officejet 6500) software (HP Officejet 6500 E710a-f). I have the second attached image error.

I used a 19041.1 Enterprise x64 pt-pt image.

I have been using a network printer for sometime in W10 untouched and updated whenever it likes, I tried to print something last thursday and the printer isn't listed, but is listed in devices without error marks.

So, that issue is in the latest CU.

I don't know if I have that problem too but I'm talking about a different one.

You didn't tell us what you did to have it again, but anyway, for HTA make sure to keep Edge HTML components.
That includes reinstalling with the new preset. If you did and kept it, then what's the issue, HTA again or?

I did nothing. I just started to have it again out of nowhere.

I kept Edge HTML Viewer and I still have this issue. When you talk about Edge HTML components are you saying I should keep all Edge components and not just Edge HTML Viewer and so do I need to keep EdgeDevToolsClient and Edge? NTLite states Edge HTML Viewer is required for HTA unlike EdgeDevToolsClient and Edge.

EDIT: Weird, after installing the LCU I no longer have this issue. What may be causing this problem? So, I only found a workaround, not a permanent solution.

EDIT 2: After using Remove Reinstalls I have this issue again so it looks like it causes it (after installing the LCU I stop having it until I use Remove Reinstalls again) and that must be why I started to have it again. I suppose the LCU reinstalls a component (normal Windows behavior) needed for the printer's software that is afterwards removed by Remove Reinstalls thus causing this problem.

You remove EdgeHtml 32-bit, probably that page or printer application is 32-bit, so try keeping that as well, as previously mentioned.
"Edge HTML components."

Ok, I thought you were talking about Edge HTML Viewer only since NTLite states it's required for HTA unlike EdgeDevToolsClient and Edge.

I was commenting on your preset in this topic, it has EdgeHtml 32-bit as removed.
If keeping it, make sure to reinstall Windows fresh, so remove returns doesn't pick up that it was removed and it re-removes it.

Btw editing old posts does not help, only confuses people reading this after.

So provide me a preset which fresh installed makes .HTA files not work, and I'll test it.

Thanks.

I thought what caused this problem was the removal of Edge HTML Viewer like the program states and not the removal of EdgeDevToolsClient and Edge too.

Sorry, but I got confused too since I thought you were talking about keeping Edge HTML Viewer only and not keeping EdgeDevToolsClient and Edge as well.

EDIT: I kept Edge HTML Viewer and removed EdgeDevToolsClient and Edge anyway (and had the problem), installed the LCU, used Remove Reinstalls and I'm not having this problem. Do you think I may have this problem in the future regardless if I keep Edge HTML Viewer, EdgeDevToolsClient and Edge?

As you aint using the Compatibility options - you should maybe consider start do so and avoid a lot of problems. When ticking the option: Printing you'll keep the component "Shell Hardware Detection" which you've removed in your preset which also could be the reason.

I checked the Shell Hardware Detection and the Printing compatibilities and I still had the problem.

Maybe you should use DepencyWalker on executable that you are trying to run to see which dlls are missing. This is really helpful way when you removing too much and don't know software depencies. Also maybe .NET or DirectX or VisualC++ are needed for runnig HP suite, try to load it with Depency Walker and you should be smarter after then.

Maybe I should use that program if I have this problem again. I had those installed and I still had this problem. I did a clean install and didn't install those and I didn't have this problem.

Have you tried it also without removing Internet Explorer? Nobody knows how HP programmers made it.

If HP suite still not working, lets play with DepencyWalker. You can easily find that it can be one simple dll that need to be registred using regsvr32.

No, I haven't. Ok, I'll use it if I have this problem again.

Since I'm having this problem before installing the LCU something must be causing it and I only found a workaround (install the LCU). Maybe I should try keeping EdgeDevToolsClient, Edge and Edge HTML Viewer. How can I use Dependency Walker?

Still see you don't use the compatibility options with the latest preset attached.
When you've loaded your image - click on Componentstab, you can access the compatibility options, which should be more than this:

I already tried with all compatibilities checked and I still have this problem. It's weird since I don't have it for some time and then it shows up out of nowhere.

EDIT: I'll keep EdgeDevToolsClient, Edge and Edge HTML Viewer, reinstall Windows, install the LCU, use NTLite's Remove Reinstalls and see if I still have this problem.

EDIT 2: I reinstalled Windows, still had the problem, installed the latest CU, used NTLite's Remove Reinstalls and I didn't have this problem but now I have a second problem, i.e., a window shows up when running HP Officejet 6500 E710a-f. It looks like it takes some time to go away and the next time I run HP Officejet 6500 E710a-f it may only show up for a second or so until I sign into my user account again after signing out, shutting down or restarting the PC (the problem returns).

Shell Hardware Detection is needed for printing. And with latest printersoftware from 2014 you may consider keep RPC locator for backwards application compatibility. Preset still show you don't use Compatibility a least for printing. If you've same problems with Compatibilities checked from the related problems you discover- why not post that preset?
