Integrate IE11 as an update?

Is it possible to integrate internet explorer 11 as an update into windows 7 ? I can run the silent installer post install but it slows things down and it takes 2 hours to complete it would be better if it was just integrated like the updates are

Anyone have any ideas ?

ie11 installer should not take 2 hours, takes under 5 minutes here. you cant integrate ie11(or net4.x), the only way to have it fully baked in/installed is with a captured image(which is really easy) which seeing as you have the relative nous you should be doing.

Integrating language packs seems to really slow down the installation. I also suspect it's trying to install some kind of update, I'll have to do a bit more reading through.

LP's are another reason for a captured image. once you have a captured wim, ntlite the hell out of it. the only reason you will ever have tomodify it again is for adding additional drivers if needed. i suggest you add intel usb3 drivers for coffee lake/refresh while you are at it.
Kasual would be abble to advise on w7 drivers for kaby lake(if i remember correctly) if needed.

even updates arent always fully integrated, update and save your image, reload it and you'll see that some updates are showing as Pending. now that 7 is EOL and if you dont use ESU's you might aswell capture an image. of all the things people do to and with windows capturing is one of the easiest things to do, just takes a few tries till you are comfortable for that final capture.

thats why i prefer working with captured wims, i dont have to go through all that malarky each time, everything is full baked in and the install time is practically the same as with an untouched iso and with an answer file. NTLite works very well with captured wims.

I will have to learn how to capture wims, and also figure out how to copy files and folders to the %homedrive%

I could clone the whole partition too which is what I typically do once things are setup. All the language packs are integrated as are generic usb 3 drivers from Windows 8 I am not sure if the ones you linked would cause a clash with the generic ones I already have. I am debating on if I should integrate some nvida drivers as well but given the various ages of machines I am working with I want it to work but yet be compatible a large variety of hardware if possible

Currently Collecting drivers would love for a links for drivers for newer CPU's/chipsets.

Also This works for the Topic of this tread "Integrate IE 11 as an update"

Using the Cab file was successful encase anyone else sees this form post (Ironically it's under the .Net 4.8 but hey a solution is a solution, and I was never good at staying on topic lol)

Has anybody else running Windows 7 had success with integrating IE11 via updates?

I'm running things differently this time, already on a SP1 official ISO anyway and the DX11.1 has been previously slipped and allowed to update and close before this second attempt.

I am finding that I can leave the machine for one hour and it's saying 0% progress still, every now and then the disk IO light has a little burst which makes me think it's doing something but it does appear to be doing anything via UI, just stays on "preparing data".

I am wondering if this feature in NTLite isn't meant to work on a windows 7 host machine or something? Because it's not like the system is saying failed and it's not freezing, rather just stays at 0% with loading mouse icon forever.

Last time this happened it would not revert and it caused a lot of pain having to clear the cache manually, wouldn't play ball.

The only logs I can find are very vague, I want to know if there is a log I can upload to help with development? Thanks

!I think my error was using redist file, using the exe found in windows update catalogue seems to be working now.!

Third time lucky I guess
