There is no security software installed, even windefend is completely disabled (not just turned off). It seems clearing the SSD did the trick, I processed win10 and win11 without any issues. For future reference, I think i will always clear the drive before starting the process

Well, after updating the host to the latest build, testing the SSD (which passed a read test with 0 errors), repartitioning and formatting the SSD, I attempted the process again, selecting only Home SL and to my surprise, this time it completed succesfully. I'm gonna try now with the 3 editions...

I remembered now, the very first error I saw was about install.wim being corrupted, So I started over with a freshly extracted ISO (like I always do anyway) and that's when I started getting the error I described. I also checked all drives for errors, found nothing.

I just finished integrating the latest updates, there were over 88.000 files in the NlTmpUpdExt folder. There's gotta be a better way to handle the deletion of such a huge number of files... edit: this time it went a lot faster, it was ready in under 7 minutes
