Same, I've got 2 of their corsair commander fan controllers in my system and a Razor Keyboard I would love to ditch the ecosystem. >.> they each add so many processes....
They are as follows -s -noreboot -clean
-s = Silent Install (this includes the Geforce experience which no one wants)...
Wow learn something new everyday.
I do game and I do have a fast computer but that's not the point. I hate having all this unnecessary junk shoved in my face. I'm not looking for an ecosystem (I spray those with liberal amounts of bleach when I find one those growing somewhere) I just want the...
True about losing data if you try to apply say a windows 7 preset to a windows 10 build I can definitely see that being a thing. I'll circle back to that later.
I was more thinking of a preset to preset comparison tool built in. Trying to make the apples to apples comparison of the presets...
Garlin is indeed correct. the general wisdom is that the less you remove the more stable the system and the more you remove the more likely you'd encounter some unexpected behavior or something completely unrelated simply won't work. I'll get into the why in the next part.

NTlite is still always going to be a hell of a lot more knowledgeable on what the values of the XML presets mean than Me and my text editor are going to be. If the values of the Xml are different between versions that's even more reason to have NTlite handle it as long as NTlite is able to read...

Yeah the program went to sh*t around that time. I thought it was more of an issue of not cleaning up or telemetry I stopped being interested in the new versions since they didn't add features I wanted
Update
I spoke to asus directly and this is what they told me.
1) Compatibility BIOS is not really "compatible" with older hardware expected by the Windows 7 "Hardware Abstraction Layer" (HAL).
2) Windows 7 does NOT support TPM 2.0, which this board uses to encrypt and verify "ALL" onboard...
