    Thank you, I don't want windows update, I want to remove anything running in the background and using cpu for unneeded stuff. I will install everything I need (languages / keyboard) then I will remove 'Windows Update Service' and 'Windows update'. Thank you all.

    Thank you. So it's not a bug. Aren't Keyboard Layouts shipped in with windows iso. If I just disable the Windows Update service (set to 4) is it still active ? I mean does the other windows update components still "work" in the background and use cpu ressources ? Thanks.

    Hello, is it a known bug ? When I uncheck windows update service (in ntlite after install) I can't change or add a keyboard layout ? It does it in "Settings" and also in "Control Panel"
