I read that Windows 7 SP1 is required for integrating. Cannot I update SP1 with NTLite?

TechBench is only 8 and 10 nowadays using the main selector, what also can be found searching around on microsofts webpage. With the search a list appeared but all get 403 - forbidden error. And the-eye.eu you have to trust, except you know the original hashes. EN-version would not be in my...

How could I slipstream all Window updates chronologically, using NTLite

An install.wim bigger than four is seen as unusual, probably for every manual on the net. Clanger do you know that WIMs could be split for a windows installation? My expectation would be the windows installer is not recognizing the split and thus will miss the other parts.

How could I slipstream all Window updates chronologically, using NTLite

Using an USB-Stick creating an iso-file is not necessary. You need to know where your working directory is from where the iso would be created. To create an bootable USB-Stick third software is needed and this doesen´t care what you used prior to it. What you might need to know is how is your...

How do I confirm that slipstreaming have been correctly carried out?

Yes this loaded image is " 8/28/2020 2:42:22 PM Windows 7 Ultimate x64 - Client 6.1.7600.16385" HOST means NTLite is logging there on which windows version NTLite was run. After installing from a created image under "Control Center/System" the Windows-Edition is stated. There need to stand...

I read that Windows 7 SP1 is required for integrating. Cannot I update SP1 with NTLite?

Ok some is already answered in different ways. It might still help others. The point could be, to use the option in NTLite to download KBs for integration needs SP1 because NTLite is not downloading SP1 or any KB that is part of SP1. And these requirements are two different things. A question...

How do I confirm that slipstreaming have been correctly carried out?

As Kasual said no need to check. First would be the log. What you will see in the mounted image/install.wim is that 'C:\Windows\winsxs' got bigger, containing the fallbacks and repair information of all updates, except from that files were changed to newer versions and some got bigger too. When...

How could I slipstream all Window updates chronologically, using NTLite

So now you have made an SP1 version out of a release Win7? No prerequisite according to https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/15090/windows-7-install-service-pack-1-sp1 WSUSOffline is of two parts. 1. UpdateGenerator, that can be run on any machine as NTLite and 2. 'UpdateInstaller' which...

How could I slipstream all Window updates chronologically, using NTLite

To solve the problem within NTLite, no that´s right. But to suggest an alternative way that´s adjustable to personal needs and works without compiling new images if something went wrong in this part. Which updates despite from security patches are necessary is very subjective. Most can already...

How do I confirm that slipstreaming have been correctly carried out?

Yes you can open everything and edit with 7zip. But don´t know what you want to 'check'. NTLite is integrating everything correct, as you would install an KB on a running install. Means the KBs are installed onto the image not copyed and saved somewhere as 'KB....exe'. Your working folder also...

I read that Windows 7 SP1 is required for integrating. Cannot I update SP1 with NTLite?

Windows 7 without SP1 is just loading normal into NTLite. v1.9. tested right now. To get SP1 and other Updates WSUSOffline is an easy way or 'manually' at https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/home.aspx NTLite should be able to integrate SP1, it is using the internal DISM.

Leave them on standard setting does not hurt. That you had before anyway.

Best updates list for Windows 7? And unattended question

Adding Registry Files and how they are applied

Adding Registry Files and how they are applied

I created a HKLM RunOnce key that is creating another HKLM RunOnce key that is executed after your first restart. This last key can execute a bat/cmd file that want´s to acces HKCU and %userprofile%. Because %userprofile% is also not existing until 'Post-Setup' is finished. If you have to use...
