If you want to get rid of all unused drivers, use my CleanDriverStore.cmd script. There is no need to use any app, drivers that are running are skipped. This is usefull when you create universal image with bunch of drivers. Easy and quick way to get rid of unused / obsolete drivers.

You can do it easily using DISM. Don't forget to Sysprep your Windows. Then boot into Windows Setup and enter CMD. Then capture needed image. Now you have install.wim that can be replaced in original setup. Just remeber, if it doesn't work it's probably caused by removing Live components and...

You can always capture image, but you can encounter errors during deploying. Live components are locked as they are needed for deploying.

So you have Autounattend.xml in ISO root. I think it's related to automated HDD partitioning inside that you mentioned in step 3. Can you share your Autounattend.xml ? (Remove product key and related personal information)
