System guard is hidden somewhere else then the typical defender spot if I remember correctly.
I won't have time tonight to test anything but will report anything back if I get something else working
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Input\Settings\ControllerProcessor\CursorSpeed
Change what's there to this
"CursorUpdateInterval"=dword:00000001
If it helps one person then I did my job, the rest of you it didn't help oh well haha
I
I remember tweaking my win98 back in the day.
Never worry about.mouse latency. I remember a small tweak in the registry that really cleaned up my mouse movements more then any mouse truely could. Will have to dig it up.
Tried that too by going back with a system restore and unfortunately did the same thing
My system is overclocked and all sleep states, eco and all that stuff I don't want have been disabled in the bios.
This is now reminding me of a couple episodes of Star Trek Voyager called "The year of hell...
After some more testing, my video player works the best it ever has. However now.my Netflix is the worse it ever has been. Win some and lose some with windows. Will keep this thread active as I figure things out.
Found out what it was. I have always left system guard in NTLITE so I decided to try something new and remove it. It has completely stop the issue and is as smooth as butter.
I am extremely pleased that after all these years I finally got the silly bugger! I still cannot believe it. I tested...
Would this work similar with windows 10 and 11? I am probably thinking it would need some tweaks to the list. I have removed a few but from past experiences I remember going a bit too far and the operating system dumped.
The free version is very limiting to what can be done. Maybe it's trying to remove something that is needed for the paid version
For what it is and my own opinion. Purchasing NTLITE has been a great/wonderful experience for me and extremely good value for my money. Windows is only going to get...
Thanks for trying to help here...

Things got better after getting pretty well everything removed from that I wanted from windows 11. The frames look cleaner if that...
I don't have gsync or a gsync capable monitor(I use a LG C7).
Haha looks like we posted around the same time haha
After reading your post why I enabled it was because it offered better movie frames. Just trying to figure out what is causing the very minor issue of the odd (feels like a drop in...

Try replacing the offending file with this one.
As the title says should fast sync in Nvidia drivers be on with variable refresh rate also being on in windows or just one of them on?
I have a Nvidia 1070 for reference and is mostly used for movies/tv shows and a little splash of gaming mixed in. The games I do play are not demanding however.
They must have turn it on to check if the battery was working and peeked at it as to why it was running better then a brand new laptop. They got jelly about your history and decided to clean it out.
It's a joke but I have no idea why that would get cleaned out
