"Install pending" updates are only in images or the latest installed waiting for reboot because need to replace files and/or to be registered.
There is no need to look inside deep on live Windoze.
I'm running x86 now.

If possible, you can check the latest logs in Windows\Panther folder path.
In the last months Ms has been testing their Servicing Stacks (SS) for the Post EOL Updates, can't remember exactly how I compared but I think I had a source updated until 2019-07 and the latest I had was 2019-11, the...
Great tool but as it is outdated (needs some UI compatibility fixes/update), I didn't share/recommend before. Explorer saves the size data in the file named DirSizeCache.dat and can be safely removed anytime. ExplorerXP can freeze in some scenarios, not sure if due to low resources (CPU, Drive...

sources\$OEM$\$1\Users\Default\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\
That will save you some bits.
Windows Apps are located here:
Program Files\WindowsApps\
Windows System Apps are located here:
Windows\SystemApps\
These Apps are extracted and more protected than other files, once I try to handle and remove some but trusted installer is needed.
