Found a nice clean 8.1 with only 2 updates in it.......no other crap. This one will work nicely. A little bit older but will do the job. Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit - Client 6.3.9600.16384. Thanx again Kasual

maszd. Just change the .txt to .reg and run it. If still not working then just create new profile. log out into new profile. on desktop copy desktop.ini (2 of them) to your profile, if wants to overright it click yes. Then logout and back into your profile. That should also fix it.

this happen from time to time. If you unhide the desktop there are 2 ini files. If they go corrupt or get deleted you cannot use your manage. I delete mine on purpose....dont like the cluttering on my desktop. Will find out if something else can cause it and let you know. Cheers

FOUND IT. With a bare OS version there is NO Asimov, once QR KB4015550 or quality rollup is installed Asimov is installed into OS. Just someone would like to know. Will check if other updates also install Asimov into OS and report back.

OK.....It's a update causing the non-removal of asimov....will report back once I found which one it is.

Every time I remove Asimov my install tell me " Windows setup could not configure windows to run on this computers hardware", and it tells me this on more than one machine's architecture. Anyone has a better idea for removing Asimov? Thanx

Ok. Virtual delay issue is caused by Eset antivirus. When using the regfile to import settings it also transfer the array order which gets cocked up, causing the mounting delay. The graphics error I'm still working on. It is not the driver, nor antivirus causing the issue. Might be a telemetry...

OK. Think I've found the virtual drive issue. Will check, but I think if you remove the Hyper-V SCSI Controller it screws up the VHD in virtual machine for windows. Will check and let you know.

I actually do not test the image in any virtaul. I have a separate laptop to run tests on if I think or feel it's not right or not sure. Since the virtuals use the same machine's hardware it can be dodgy...so no. Thing is this, it auto takes the chipset drivers without option to add or remove...

The way I read it, It doesn't kill fast boot which is a option comming from the bios, but you can still use it as long as fast boot is disabled. If fast boot is enabled then you cannot use it simply because the OS is loaded directly from the bios menu and not the drive menu....thus not being...
