Windows 10 LTSC 1809 - Optimize Gaming/Poweruser/Runtime Profile, retaining maximum compatibility. For x64/UEFI systems

If you ever figure this out, please post some information. I also use one Appx package and whatever happens during the first online connection might be general to all Store apps.

Windows 10 LTSC 1809 - Optimize Gaming/Poweruser/Runtime Profile, retaining maximum compatibility. For x64/UEFI systems

The program that didn't work for me was quite specific for my hardware. It's the ASUS ScreenPad2 Optimizer. It's quite crucial that it works on my laptop.

Windows 10 LTSC 1809 - Optimize Gaming/Poweruser/Runtime Profile, retaining maximum compatibility. For x64/UEFI systems

In NTLite's Extra Services section there's a microsoft system management bios driver. This mod disables that driver. Some hardware setup/optimization utilities need that driver. Just a heads up if anyone is having hardware setup problems. That was actually my last issue (hopefully) I've had that...

    Running a modified explorer.exe on Windows 10

I modified my explorer.exe with resource hacker but Windows 10 does not allow me to run the modified file. Windows displays a blue box stating that the the file is not compatible with my version of Windows. Is there any way to remove this useless Windows protection? I already have MT_s modified...

Windows 10 LTSC 1809 - Optimize Gaming/Poweruser/Runtime Profile, retaining maximum compatibility. For x64/UEFI systems

Disabling the Extra Services in this mod is really useful. I haven't really spent a lot of time looking into the details of what is included in there but I've come to notice that there is some real crap there that really needs to be disabled.

Windows 10 LTSC 1809 - Optimize Gaming/Poweruser/Runtime Profile, retaining maximum compatibility. For x64/UEFI systems

NTLite states that Components-Hardware-Devices Flow is needed for Bluetooth (actually Bluetooth is deeper in that menu) so it makes sense that the service is needed. As far as I have been able to test DevicesFlow is needed at least for the bluetooth connection menu (otherwise it will crash on...

Windows 10 LTSC 1809 - Optimize Gaming/Poweruser/Runtime Profile, retaining maximum compatibility. For x64/UEFI systems

Ok. I'm not really using this for gaming so it's a bit different. I actually do have a mouse like that but I wanted to free a USB port on a laptop and there was no adverse effects on system latency. Win10 is actually pretty much on par with Win7 concerning latency with this mod. I think the...

Windows 10 LTSC 1809 - Optimize Gaming/Poweruser/Runtime Profile, retaining maximum compatibility. For x64/UEFI systems

Are you talking about somehow connecting without the logitech usb dongle?

Windows 10 LTSC 1809 - Optimize Gaming/Poweruser/Runtime Profile, retaining maximum compatibility. For x64/UEFI systems

If you want to enable bluetooth for this thing (I used the latest v. 1.0.5) do the following changes: Go to Components-Hardware and enable Devices Flow. NTLite will then ask you to add the related drivers. Probably best to ok that. Go to Services and enable DevicesFlow and Network Connection...

Windows 7 - Disabling driver signature enforcement

One of those modded drivers worked for me and no more signature issues with them.

Windows 7 - Optimize Gaming/Poweruser/Runtime Profile, optional ability for absolute minimal resources. (UEFI possible)

The MT-W7-Predefined Powerplan.reg file is quite large and complicated. Can you elaborate a bit what it does and is there any advantage to using it instead of just going and adjusting windows power options via settings/control panel? Thanks.

Windows 7 - Disabling driver signature enforcement

I actually used a Win-RAID usb3 driver that was modified for Win7 and signed... It actually worked fine with the latest Windows 7 Ultimate ISO. When I tried it with an older Professional ISO it didn't work (in terms of signature) and that's why I started this thread. Unfortunately also the...

Windows 7 - Disabling driver signature enforcement

I was able to edit the driver file with this tool: http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/Video-Tweak/Driver-Signature-Enforcement-Overrider.shtml Now everything works.

Windows 7 - Disabling driver signature enforcement

Whether bcdedit commands work or not depends on the Windows installation somehow I think, like I mentioned depending on what hotfixes are installed. Secureboot is disabled in my BIOS.

Unfortunately those do not work either.

Windows 7 - Disabling driver signature enforcement

I have tried to run command prompt as an administrator and also tried running with your file. From what I've read online some update/hotfix of Windows 7 disables the possibility to permanently disable this. So just to make it clear. These commands do not work: bcdedit.exe -set loadoptions...

Windows 7 - Disabling driver signature enforcement

Is there a way to do this permanently? I've tried a few online guides but they did not actually work. It bothers me to keep pressing F8 every time I need to boot my computer.

Nevermind I had only Microsoft Basic Display drivers installed, huh.... Sorry for jumping the gun.
