As I said on another topic what moderator chose to lock to hide the truth, /restorehealth is just ONE of many ways, how to trigger component reinstalls.

If NTLite can't handle the silent Windows compontent reinstalls, then WHAT IS THE WHOLE POINT OF THIS SOFTWARE? Everyone can just delete their OS WinSxS folder for free without paying 40€ in a year and end up with the same broken state of Windows, because that's exactly what NTLite can currently do.
 
If moderator chooses to close this topic again, I just will spread the truth on other Windows modding related forums they have no control over of. Then the creators of this piece of ???? will look even more bigoted.
 
A tip, how to "deep clean" your Windows pc for free. Download and install WinDirStat app and navigate to WinSxS folder. It will sort all subfolders by their size. Delete all the largest folders end up with better result than with NTLite.
 
Point me where was the truth hidden?

The fact that RestoreHealth worked, is the proof of NTLite's precision, if you deleted anything manually (deployed and in WinSxS folder), RestoreHealth would fail.

If you want WinSxS clean, disable Servicing Stack compatibility and reuse the same preset.

To inform and complain about the broken product I paid for. Isn't it a customer's right to do so?

I would not dare to say a single bad thing about this sofware if it was free.

Reporting a bug should not be complaining.
The style of your reporting is non-productive, it would be much better to actually report the problem with the preset as instructed, without all the insults.

No one here is against reporting bugs, 90% of this forum is only that, the problem is you think it's ok to be rude if you payed.

And btw even if a tool is free, reporting a bug is a good thing.

Post or send me the preset so I can test it on the original topic, I'll now stop repeating myself, feeling like an idiot begging to help.

On the sidenote, I am very close to a breakthrough on my own with the diffrerent approch of Windows modding.

I use NTLite for years and Windows never silently returned components for me, as you were told in the original topic it's unexpected, have some patience for us to replicate it, which is not possible without your preset.

Don't also lie, you said broken state of Windows - while it can auto-heal itself from missing files.
That's not broken, nor the tool is until proven otherwise, maybe you did something wrong.
 
Well, in that case I am feeling insulted for paying for the broken product. I was the owner of the money I gave to you. You have the right to be offended, but not me? What kind of supremacy nonsense is this?

I have already purchased products that did not suit me in the end,
I have not however contacted the manufacturer/publisher to say that their product was broken or anything else (it was not just for my use)

But I have already contacted them to ask if modifications were possible for my use, and if it was relevant for them, they made them

If you would look closely of my post history, then you can notice that my so-called tone changed over time, when I realized, no one really cares about clients' problems here.

Let's make a bet that none of the problems I have reported here will be fixed in the upcoming months. Just giving an answer in the forum is way too little caring.

If I am wrong, I am willing to openly apologize.

If this is the problem about the OneDrive Manifest, then you have an answer, I believe
 
Windows and Ntlite both have a complicated relationship. Windows will update itself and won't explain how it may or may not affect something else. If they had too they would never get anything done. Ntlite does it's best to do the work and does it well. Has there been a odd issue from time to time....sure just like anything else.

Windows isn't a perfect system and neither am I or Ntlite. I have used Ntlite for such a long time and always got great results out of it. When I have had issues they tried there best to deal with it in the best way possible but in the end sometimes things that worked before may not work after a windows update and that makes things challenging.

Ntlite will never be perfect nor will windows but you take,learn,adapt and grow as time goes on.
 
For 40€ in a year NTLite falls way too short to do it well what it promises. This tool is not for free like all the rest of Windows modding software, so it has to perform much better than it's no charge counterparts, but I am not seeing it living up the standards, not even close. What you get for money is somewhat nicer GUI, and that's about it.

BTW, found yet another massive flaw in NTLite, but I am not gonna tell you what it is. Let's just pretend it does not exist and everything is superb.

The license costs 40€
Only if you want the new features, etc... Where you have to "renew" it every year (which costs less)
