[BUGs] NTLite Crash sometimes when create new preset after loading VHD, Inaccessible Boot Device

tested with windows 10 22h2 , server 2012
im not sure it related to the OS version

Sure someone here can help if post a preset causing the problem.
Please leave out any personal information or added regs/ post setups commands.
I'm not a HyperV expert.
 
i deploy image into vhd
boot it up in vm
doing same tweaks
shut it down

then open ntlite add the vhd to ntlite list
load the image
click on the preset tab then new preset
ntlite sometimes crash
 
Interesting issue load a virtualized (VHD) Windows in a virtualized enviroment (HyperV) and start using NTL.
Not sure NUHI have foreseen that combination.
Still think the crash problem occur from the vhd be loaded inside a HyperV environment still hold pending operations which NTL don't like without a restart.
 
restarting ntlite take longer to load but works

should it be like liting live windows?

My experience is - after stripped Windows and install/ load it again in NTL live - just restart as NTL will ask for it during proces coz of pending operations.
Especially if you've updated and run your preset again on an already live install.
Update - make cleans - restart - and run NTL live.
 
getting this when using all templates (exclude not recommended)
imaged is deployed into VHD
NTLite version - 2023.5.9257+

Hyper-V host is for enable the feature in host

doesn't seems to help
i leave all the branch from hyper-v
