Well, aside from the usual DCH / App basics it needs, it also needs "Shared Experiences" to my knowledge, but it might alo need other stuff I didn't try to remove.

I thought I'd put it out there, for whoever need this info.

Fair.

I find it funny because I usually disable Remote desktop, TPM, and Superfetch, even though they are on the 'recommended' to keep list and never had any problems with it.

Wow, that's odd (NTLite). RDP & TPM are entirely optional (RDP's crippled in Home), and Superfetch is a sore point for SSD owners.

Superfetch is a sore point for SSD owners.
...And Hardware-SMR HDDs, who stay on 100% usage for minutes at boot while eating your CPU, Memory and Battery as well. Sure booting apps without it would take extra time, but believe me, its better than waiting for ~5mins at boot on an old machine with a 5400RPM SMR disk.

SMR drives are a reason I haven't bought a large capacity disk in years. As a former systems guy, it drives me crazy HDD have huge capacities but the thinnest straw to push data through. They're worthless unless you're striping writes across 4-8 of them.

Well, I can't control the drives they use in pre-built machines, but as the techie, I have to know the reason they are doing what they're doing and have an explanation when asked. (that's what I'm paid for)
