Could Nuhi give correct as to which type of updates I have to choose

Hi, Found so many methods of updating.
what i want is , If i suppose have w7 sp1 , how i check for updates , choose updates that i like, and then use ntlite.
Some says wsus offline, which cannot be controlled by you, as those are done by wtempadmin.
Some says download and then integrate it using ntlilte.
I think, msu files are needed in a kind of bulk to finish this huge task.
as windows 7 would be no more supported by msoft, it is better to have all in one as integrated.
I lilke ntlite for that, as you could just format your pendrive and use the integrated image.
As updates are user selected, every user would like to have his choice of updates.
I read about some techniques given by one auther in the first thread of this sub forrum.
But what i want is , how to check for only updates after sp1, that would be of my choice.
can i go to update catalogue site and then download individual files and then integrate with the ntlite
But the drawback is choosing of updates, some would have had bugs and then would have been resolved .
In a nutsheel,i want a clear cut instructions by the author on this
There may be some exe files, which may contain so much msus and give confusion to users.

1) If you want to select which updates you want to integrate into SP1 media, just download it from elsewhere you like or use build in feature to download updates

To add to what George showed, the pre-selected updates are enough, just press Enqueue and it will add those to the image during processing.
Don't think about it too much, also can't integrate latest Win7 "ESU" updates anyway.

hi nuhi hope you are doing ok, i was going to ask u something.. are you going to add a workaround to integrate esu updates maybe integrating abbodi's scripts to ntlite's process?

hi, could i delete autosaved session xml files in the integrated OS by ntlite.
i hope that these files are created by the ntlite on its processing the image
I also notice, that the folder also contain ntlite.log file. can i also delete this file.

Hi, i have tried and succeeded in integrating the updates with sp1.
But try to install, i got a problem, that after expanding the files stage, stage two, of install, there was alert that the windows did not install successfully. It alerts that a file in the hard disk directory, program data, miscrosoft, decrypt.. failed and it stops and asked me to chkdsk.
But this happened after i formatted the hard disk. i was shocked, how a folder program data came to show as error from the source folder.
tried two times , the same error.
Then i tried and then went to repair options and started from c: to available drives and check the presence of any folder or files.
Oh, i found that the same drive letter with, not exact path was available , was present in the same directory as in the error shows. There was a windows.old directory created.
i just deleted all the files and then the install went on smoothlyl.
Just deleting the partition and formatting the drive , i think do not completely erasse the data fully.
I know that windows.old is being created when you just format it and install again the windows.
this folder is staying even when you delete all the partitions.
Is it correct
why this folder is not getting deleted when we delete the partions and format. any idea

I expected a reply for my query. It seems that nobody has faced this issue while installing the windows.
If you only choose the c: drive, then it may be possible to show files on other partitions such as d, e drive etc.
But if you delete all the partitions and format to install windows, then there should be no files in the hdd. Is my presumption correct or not
x folder is installing folder and c: folders is the file containing installation. how other fiolders and files are shown and it corrupts the install

Could anyone say, why this is not deleted when i delete the old partions totally . There were only two options of upgrading automatic and custom . i have choosen the custom
