Creating your own update

Hi is it possible to create you own update to do the same thing in host refresh?

for exp i want to create my own update for win 10 1903 home and when it is applied to my system, it will do what host refresh does? since i can't explain what is going on to my 70 years old mother on skype or teamviewer with her on her slow network... she can't do host refresh and fix her computer. and since i can't create any unattended-silent host refresh software with ntlite. i can't fix computer that far away.

I create flash drives with full unattended installation configuration and mail it to them. If their computer is new enough, [KEY] will work fine. Getting the boot situation straightened out is always the trick. The flash drive has to be created differently for UEFI vs CSM. (unless there is some trick I have missed somehow?)

Walking an end user through the settings app in windows is a tech support skill (I've done my time as phone support). If there exists an option in the windows settings app to boot to other media, you know you are working with a UEFI system. the settings > system > about page tells you what edition to configure if you want to customize.

In my experience, windows 10 will usually get the network up and running without assistance and windows update can take care of the rest.

thank you, but not the solution i am looking for, i just need host refresh to work automatically... or alternative just like that as i explained in thread

Not sure I understood the question.
Are you asking is it possible to automate host refresh or how to do it manually?
If former, then I have more to say, and for the latter:

How is it easier to manually (with DISM?) prepare an updated ISO and run host refresh (just start setup.exe from the root), while you have NTLite that automates steps for you?
You don't have to remove components or unattended to use host refresh, better yet unattended is disabled when in that mode.
Make sure no .\autounattend.xml file is in that ISO root.
