Customizing default user profile

also both file names will have to match, example.exe - example.exe.mui. if you rename example.exe to exmaple you must rename the mui to match, so exmaple.exe and exmaple.exe.mui.

you have to make a correction:

$OEM$\$1\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\

Thank you for the hint. I fixed it.
I tried this:
$OEM$\$1\Install\ (some pdf, cmd ...)
$OEM$\$1\Users\Default\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\LayoutModification.xml
$OEM$\$$\SysWOW64\mycalc.exe
$OEM$\$$\SysWOW64\de-DE\mycalc.mui.exe

They are all NOT copied during system installation. :-(
When i place them manually in these folders (mounted folder in NTlite) things work.

Does there need to be some other things aktivated or so, so that the $OEM$ is being vopied during installation?

thx again :)

$OEM$ folders dont rely on activation, they are copied during installation. make sure $OEM$ is inside the Sources folder. cant help on why they aint copying over, sorry.

make sure $OEM$ is inside the Sources folder
At least i got it. I placed it in the root of the install-media. Thoug the $OEM$ is still in sources with the SetupComplete.cmd.
