Did I break my Network with my NTL install?

Just built & installed a fresh version of W7 Pro 64 on my laptop with NTL and, so far, it's working well. Except for my "network" - which is simply a Workgroup config on both my desktop W7 64 machine and my laptop. I've used this config for years without problems. But now my desktop still works but after configuring the laptop exactly the same as before when it attempts to access the desktop machine it gets the dreaded "access is denied" error. (The laptop's internet connection seems to work normally.)

Is it possible I removed something, etc during the build process that the OS needs in order to connect to my other computer? I've attached my preset & log files and if any of you would be so kind as to see what I screwed up i'd greatly appreciate it

Thanks very much, Kasual.

Please correct me if i'm wrong but "Diagnostics and Troubleshooting" would only be needed to troubleshoot the problem rather than being part of making my micro network work.
