on Join domain have the option pop up with your desired computer name so it’s not generated automatically.

unfortunately Windows setup does not support that.
It would require some sort of a tool or a script being called on image bootup. I do plan on eventually adding that, but it got delayed.
 
I have seen people do this with elaborate scripting generating a dialog box that asks for it before setup applies it and then splices that into the .xml to be applied in a later pass. I looked into implementing it but it was far more complicated than it was worth. A neat gui prompt would be cool if there was an easy way to do it but there is not.
 
Added this option to the build #6572, let me know if you're satisfied with it.
