Error message: "Aborted - Image mount" when trying to mount install.wim (Windows 7 64-bit)

Hello,
I have a Windows 7 iso file (original untouch X17-59009.iso, W7 SP1 64-bit French) that i've modified with the Windows 7 Image Updater tool, downloaded here : https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...-kabylake-coffelake-ryzen-threadripper.76335/
Because I have 2 laptops with Intel 8th Gen cpus...

The iso generated by W7 image updater is OK : i can install W7 with last updates and drivers (USB3, Nvme, security patches, and so on).
I thought i could downstream the iso a little bit with NTLite (i have the licensed edition). But i can't for now because of the message :
"Aborted - Image mount"
D:\ [...]\sources\install.wim
[18] Il n'y a plus de fichier" (I don't why the last sentence is in French but it means "there is no more file" btw ;-) )

I know that the image updater tool is modifying the boot.wim file with a new installer like the one that exists in W10. Dont know what it does exactly on the install.wim though.
I use the tool because i never succeeded to obtain an equivalent functional iso with NTLite. Even if i tried to integrate the same drivers and updates in the boot and install wim files as W7 image updater does successfully...

I also tried to reverse the steps (to generate a custom NTLite iso from a microsoft original iso and then to use it in W7 image updater tool) but without success...

Do you have an idea about what can i do to downstream my fully integrated iso with NTLite or another tool ?

Hi,

error 18 info is here, let me know what you find out.

To add to that, does editing the image pre-modification, the original ISO, results in the same error?

Thanks.

First thanks to both of you for answering me. Here are results of some tests I made :
- Mounting the original unmodified iso from Microsoft is OK (X17-59009.iso) in NTLite. Mounting a previous iso made with NTLite is OK too.
- I tried to mount my custom iso (made with w7 image updater) after unchecking "Verify image files " in Settings : Same error message.
- In GImageX, i can't mount any image (even the unmodified one), error is :
Mount Path: C:\temp
Image File: D:\DOWNLOADS\x17-59009\sources\install.wim
Image Index: 1
Mounted R/W: 1
Temporary files: C:\Users\mam\AppData\Local\Temp

Opening WIM...
Mounting image...
ERROR: Unable to mount image.
ERROR: ???
Maybe i do something wrong with GImageX because mounting wim files is ok in NTLite (excepting of course my custom iso file).

7 image updater has screwed the image up. use ntlite only. worked fine for me.
i added the drivers to an untouched iso with ntlite, installed, updated, captured with gimagex, imported and cleaned up with ntlite, installed multiple times. no problems anywhere.

Your previous answer the other day gave me the idea to retest latest NTLite version with a fresh untouched iso. I added usb3, nvme drivers and the 2 updates needed for nvme to the boot.wim. Then I mounted the install.wim and I integrated the same drivers + some others for NIC, Wifi and so on. Plus only 4 updates : the 2 in boot.wim + convenience rollup (KB3125574) and KB3020369. Well no luck : when booting i did not have the mouse pointer and my m.2 ssd is not detected... With the iso made by 7 image updater, no issue : i can use the touchpad during installation and my ssd is recognized: don't know what i'm missing here
