I come from this post I made well over 7 months ago : https://www.ntlite.com/community/index.php?threads/essence-os-is-it-legal.4749/
Highly recommended to read this post first, Thank You.
I'd like to confess that I am using NTLite for a year now and I've been making my Windows-Based OS, Essence OS ever since. Before I say the questions, my goal is to make the fastest, lightest and securest Windows OS that rivals the Stock Windows OS, Other Windows-Based OSes like ReviOS, AtlasOS, Tiny11, etc..., even Linux, and I want to be fully transparent, open-sourced, made from the ISO from the official ISO, and just be a real deal when it comes to Windows OS. But I got a problem. I am breaking Microsoft's Terms and Conditions by redistributing my OS as an ISO file.
I wanted to fix it and actually be the real deal. So, I checked my rivals' websites, ReviOS and AtlasOS. I know they use playbooks but then I stumbled on the AME Playbook Website, where I found that I could convert NTlite files to Playbooks. I immediately went to read more about it. But it said that I need a licensed NTLite. Now, I am young and I don't get any money for these projects, so I use the Free License. In the post I mentioned above, the moderator told I could use it but I must be transparent about it. I set up a GitHub Repository to add all the files that I use for each version in Release.
Anyway, Can I use free license of NTLite for Playbooks? I am going to buy NTLite's License when I do get money, as there is a lot of nice features I could use. So, could I switch to playbook with my current license or do I have to pay up? I wish to not to, as the sooner, the better.
Thank You For Reading.
Akshay.
