I come from this post I made well over 7 months ago : https://www.ntlite.com/community/index.php?threads/essence-os-is-it-legal.4749/
Highly recommended to read this post first, Thank You.

I'd like to confess that I am using NTLite for a year now and I've been making my Windows-Based OS, Essence OS ever since. Before I say the questions, my goal is to make the fastest, lightest and securest Windows OS that rivals the Stock Windows OS, Other Windows-Based OSes like ReviOS, AtlasOS, Tiny11, etc..., even Linux, and I want to be fully transparent, open-sourced, made from the ISO from the official ISO, and just be a real deal when it comes to Windows OS. But I got a problem. I am breaking Microsoft's Terms and Conditions by redistributing my OS as an ISO file.

I wanted to fix it and actually be the real deal. So, I checked my rivals' websites, ReviOS and AtlasOS. I know they use playbooks but then I stumbled on the AME Playbook Website, where I found that I could convert NTlite files to Playbooks. I immediately went to read more about it. But it said that I need a licensed NTLite. Now, I am young and I don't get any money for these projects, so I use the Free License. In the post I mentioned above, the moderator told I could use it but I must be transparent about it. I set up a GitHub Repository to add all the files that I use for each version in Release.

Anyway, Can I use free license of NTLite for Playbooks? I am going to buy NTLite's License when I do get money, as there is a lot of nice features I could use. So, could I switch to playbook with my current license or do I have to pay up? I wish to not to, as the sooner, the better.

Thank You For Reading.
Akshay.

Short answer: create your own NTLite preset and provide a web guide how to use it and which version of the preset for what level of removal.
Your question can you pirate NTLite operations is kinda an obvious no.

That "sniffing" of NTLite changes by the Atlas folks is not welcomed at all, and is of course against the NTLite license agreement, even the free one.
Free version cannot remove most of components anyway, you can see what it does.

NTLite can be ran in a command-line with your preset, see ntlite.exe /?
For a preset to fully apply, each end user needs a licensed NTLite.

Shucks. That's a bit dull from my expectations. I got an idea though. Should I get the .xmp file and somehow use it like a playbook?

I also hope you have read the first post on the top of the post. I was allowed then but not now?

Since both distributing custom ISOs and reverse engineered NTLite operations is illegal, I don't see any need to talk about the details how to get there.
