Install RTX 2070 drivers on LTSB 2016

It would be super cool to install RTX 2070 drivers on LTSB 2016. Yeah, I know RTX features would be broken, but for e-sport games that would be unnecessary anyway. And the fps difference between Windows 10 latest and LTSB 2016 is huge in the favor of LTSB.
Sorry for my bad English

dont know at all. not a gamer(have gt710). prolly impossible due to the drivers wddm version requirements.
as far as i know you cant take wddm V.x from one w10 build series and put it in another.
that would be "hacking" and we dont do that here. you would be better off looking at pure gamer forums.

Sorry if this is OFF, but do you know any way to install RTX 2070 drivers to v1609 Win 10? (LTSB 2016 as I mentioned)
2070 drivers only support 1709 and higher if I know right.
Can you attach driver INF file? I don't think there is limit to Windows build

Dunno if this is of any help.............................

I'm purely AMD/ATI here, so when it comes NVID, i wouldnt have a scooby, only other solution i can think of is extracting driver install files to a folder and intergrating through NTLITE, see if it works that way.,

might work, certain nuhi said drivers are "forced" when integrating. downside is adding gpu drivers will increase the image size by 500mb +.

I will try. But IDK how to add the whole Nvidia driver.

Thank you very much guys, I will try this as soon as possible. I think I would don't care about Nvidia control panel if the Nvidia profile inspector would work somehow. :p

If RTX features aren't important why not just use Windows 8.1? Do any e-sport games only work on Windows 10? You can use Windows 7 drivers on Windows 8.1. I think they are the same drivers. NVIDIA just doesn't want to support 8.1 anymore because few people use it.

I think Windows 8.1 is better for games than any build of Windows 10. Mainly for games that don't have a good DirectX 12 implementation and run better on DirectX 9 DirectX 11 or 9. Although I didn't find many comparison tests. But Win8.1 is the most responsive and optimized Windows overall. Windows 7 is lighter but RAM consumption in games on it is the highest and 8.1 handles disk operations better, among other optimizations.

If you are going to use Windows 10 better use version 2004/21H1 due to DirectX 12 Ultimate which in the long run will greatly improve performance in games if developers implement the optimizations that came with it in their games.

Yeah, you are right. The only reason I picked Win 10 LTSB over Win 8.1 is DX12. But I didn't tested the preformance between 8.1 and 10 LTSB so maybe there is time to do it. I got a "This game is require DX11 feature level 10.0 to run." message from VALORANT. So maybe I try to switch to 8.1. Maybe even this problem can be fixed. Are you 100% percent sure if I pick the Win 7 version of Nvidia driver it will work and not cry about "Hey noob download 8.1 version instead!". Or is it the same package?
You know what? I will reinstall my PC and I will try all of my programs and games on 8.1 maybe a much easier thing to do then try to make that annoying driver to work on my preferred Win 10 version...

And again sorry for big OFF!

nuhi, if you read this: How long Win 8.1 will be supported by NTLite? Win11 just coming, so 8.1 is very outdated. This is why I ask.

I completely forgot about DirectX 11. I edited my post. About the drivers just testing to be sure but I downloaded the 2 files and they are identical! With the same SHA-1 hash.

451.48 - Windows 7
451.48 - Windows 7 and Windows 8.1

SHA-1: 68B46D3F9D913FFA26F9C78D3EC5AA818285668D

But inside the file there may be a routine that checks the video card version and the Windows version so just testing it to be sure.

I have a GTX 1650 Super and am using this version of the driver which is one of the versions with better FPS for my card until NVIDIA fixed the annoying YouTube bug that has been going on since late last year.

I'm in the mood to "upgrade" to Win8.1 too, I've been playing very little and Windows 10 is a regression and a real downgrade. I only use it to play some games that require it.

you've used 8.1 before, you'll just need a short refresher. 10 has been nothing but a pain in the butt. lets hope 11 is better behaved
oh look, a flying pig.

7 is still supported because of demand, i imagine it will be the same for 8.1 although ms's latest fustercluck will have to take priority.
to give you a little ray of hope nuhi (semi)recently added something for vista because it was asked for.
