Hi, every one knows that 7 zip could be used to view the files of iso.
my query is related to the increasing size of install.wim due to the process of slip streaming of updates and other fixes
Is it possible to view where the update files are stored in the install.wim which we would normally mount for slip streaming process.
experts please say.
i have seen so much articles on how to slipstream, but not the post check operation of image.
i experienced abrupt stop of windows install , in Expanding files... the second process of install . So , I ask

Hi, Kas , i also see a line under the right side of existing updates, that denotes windows 7 x64 service pack 1, So, i presume that service pack is properly integrated with prerequisite updates.
Now, how to proceed to install updates further to the service pack using ntlite.

The Windows 7 SP1 untouched that i have shows SP1 update as "Pending install" what does that mean

Windows 7 Sp1 built by Ms isn't as expected, seems like Ms integrated SP1 to Windows 7 and then released as Windows 7 SP1 to public.

Go to post #17, download the latest update list there and check the annoying updates note (telemetry and updates/upgrade related).
