I'm trying to figure out how to create some windows 10 image like ghost spectre, but didn't any information on the internet.
Here's a link for the video of the demonstration of the ISO:

I'm trying to figure out what is the privacy optimizations that ghost spectre insert and also the performance mode, and I got a problem to get a windows 10 installation size too, ghost spectre ISO get the final installation size between 4-6GB without remove anything in my view using NTLite.

So if anyone could help me will be really good, I want to make some ISO for a friend and celebration a reach mark on his channel, but need to figure out how to make some awesome ISO like Ghost Spectre does.

Here is my reply on a similar question, let me know if you have further questions.

NTLite removal near maximum, plus the Compact option, add this command to post-setup:
Compact.exe /CompactOS:always
Then Windows size below 2GB.

Will add to 2.1 beta some presets of sorts, like what is safe(r) to remove and what not to easily uncheck all.

nuhi do you think compactos affects performance in a bad or good way? fps drops in games? etc? i think if it was good microsoft would have enable it by default for all devices?

I see here what do you mean with disable all Compatibilities, enable only those you want if any. The compatibility tab I uncheck almost everything except drivers and host machine. But what I'm trying to discover is how to uncheck the unnecessary things, I want make some ISO for gaming and daily use, but keep the windows defender and also windows update stuff. Another question that I'm thinking is that languages when removed, we're allowed to reinstall with no problem in windows?

Thanks for the reply, Nuhi. Some presets will be really awesome from a NTLite Developer, hope to see :) . Probably the team is working harder to improve NTLite.

The CompactOS doesn't affect the performance at all, but what affects that I get answer from Chef-Koch is to see if will cause problems with Adobe products and music/video. In my tests, I'm not get any issues with Photoshop and play videos or music with CompactOS enabled.

Another question is, if you have time of course, what ghost spectre means with
Optimized Pagefile/Services/Scheduled/Search Indexer
Privacy Optimizations & Performante mode!

I try to find which reg tweaks was applied but even trying use a program to see differences between the original reg from windows and ghost spectre didn't specify all the tweaks.

" Compact.exe /CompactOS ", is that like "Compress this drive to save space" option on a drive? ahh, it is.
i thought that there was a performance hit compressing the drive and if i remember correctly you do gain space but not enough to jump for joy. even on a drive or partition less than 60gb its still not worth it in my opinion and thats from personal experience. a crucial 120gb ssd is just over 20gbp. even a tight wad can afford that.

In my opinion files are mostly read only once and those that are needed multiple times like Windows libraries are precached in memory.
Once the file is in RAM cached it doesn't matter how it was written on the disk.
Games/Windows do not reread the needed file constantly from the disk, only once then it's in cache until not enough RAM for other things.
Of course if one has only 2-4GB of RAM then it might matter more if the files are compressed or not, even then if you have more cores won't feel it, etc.

lenkarin, after updating Windows don't forget to run Tools - Remove Reinstalls, as now Cumulative Updates return updated pieces.
Best is to keep the languages you need or will need, but it should be fine. If you see any issues, make sure to report them with the preset demonstrating it.

Also CompactOS is compressing only Windows folder as far as I know, not the entire disk, so don't know how Adobe or other tools would be affected.

Removing components in NTLite will always do more than just disabling those, with the Remove Reinstalls notion.
Also if you ever see the need to do a cleaner Lite repolish or return a component, explore the Host Refresh tool as well.

Hi nuhi,

Sorry for the take some time to reply you, I test here and I get a 5.42GB final installation size of Windows 10 LTSC 2019, with all the languages removed except English, Portuguese and Spanish. Another question, is a easy one I hope, how can I change the color of windows theme and also the background from Windows theme using NTLite? If is possible could guide me in some topic or say how can I do this please.

lenkarin you wont be able to change themes and backgrounds until windows is activated. create aa theme file with your selected wallypaper and copy it to each new install you do. 5.42gb, is that compressed or uncompressed? if thats uncompressed then i reckon thats about right. nuhi i never compressed a drive with 4gb ram and no pagefile. i have found that what ms suggests doesnt really get to the heart of an issue.

I compact the installation not sure if is the same of compress, I use NTLite and WinReducer to achieve this size 5.42GB

So basically, I use 3 programs to achieve that size. Unfortunately I couldn't test in games and other programs in the moment, but I save the ISO file and will test after doing another test keeping the languages and see the size that I will get.

yes or no would have been suffient. using multiple tools can create problems and ends up giving nuhi more work to do. id be happy with 5.4gb.

Yes, I will try to use only NTLite, what I see from WinReducer is a tool to clear the boot.wim,install.wim not sure if is possible in NTLite.

You have more time usage with NTLite than could you tell me which is the features that has vulnerabilities in Windows please? And you have some website showing a workaround ?

i dont have as much knowledge as you think i have, @M_T pmikep and others have more knowledge on vulnerabilities, ive pinged them so you should get a responce. i only tweak and remove languages and keyboards.
