Hello,How to uninstall Universal Print Management?

There is a signed Microsoft DLL on Win10 and Win11, found at:

C:\WINDOWS\System32\McpManagementService.dll

The service loads this DLL via svchost.exe -k McpManagementServiceGroup

In SERVICES.MSC, there's also a message reading, "description: "failed to read description. Error Code:15100>"

It's File Description reads: Universal Print Management Service.

How to uninstall Universal Print Management?

Some Goggling seems to show that this was introduced sometime this year, and may be broken for a lot of people. If that's the case you can disable the service and/or if you truly want to get rid of it use the 'sc delete' command, but you will have to reinstall Windows to get it back if you need it later. It sounds like this service (link) may be introduced by Microsoft 365, because I don't have it on W10 21H2.

Component name is McpManagement, but NTLite doesn't list it separately. Since most users don't care about it, I doubt nuhi made the effort to make it removable.
