I'm getting an error message while trying to install Windows 10

I used NTLite to make a custom Windows 10 install disk but when I use the disk I keep getting an error message. This is what the message says:

Windows could not parse or process the unattend answer file for pass (specialize). The settings specified in the answer file cannot be applied. The error was detected while processing settings for component (Microsoft Windows - shell - setup).

So what do I need to do to fix this?

All I did in NTLite was I told it to skip the local account setup and I entered in the Windows license key. I don't believe I even removed anything.

Since its oem I think he is having problem about missing setupcomplete.cmd that I am talking about. can you put this folder ($OEM$) inside root of usb or iso and try again if the problem is gone?

I downloaded Windows 10 from Microsoft's site and made an ISO. I loaded the ISO into NT Lite and made a custom ISO using NT Lite. I then extracted the contents of that ISO and put that on a USB flash drive and installed Windows 10 with no hangups so it worked.
I don't know but I'm hoping I can install Windows 10 from an optical disc too.

Thank You much for your help.

DVD versions are usually way out of date. And Dell's Recovery Tool (as an example), downloaded Win 10 1809.
What's important to you is the license key, if it's valid then it applies to the same edition (Home or Pro) for all Windows 10 or 11 ISO's.

Installing off the DVD will get you an obsolete Windows, and not worth your trouble.
