well after about half a day I myself cannot get keyboard and mouse to work, ive tried org 3.0 and 3.1 drivers, using ntlite i get error wrong architecture and didnt expect anything to work, then I tried those modded usb drivers and such and a few other places I obtained different drivers and tried them, and still nothing, when I did it on ryzen I remember having the same issues and then adding this one thing made it work, and im sure i added the driver stuff manually into the driver store or had to add something after using ntlite to get this to work but alas idk

Did you try the 5.0.5.55 x64 xhci driver or the windows6.1-kb2864202-x64.msu and 6.2.900 drivers?

5.0.4.43v2 is the latest official version.
Windows 7 shouldnt have happened on 8/9th generation but the 300 series chipsets were fiddled with 22nm 200 series chipsets due to shortages so we had a bit of luck and we should count our blessings :)

Windows 10 is a bloated shitefest but windows 11 is a fustercluck of epic proportions.

We've honestly crossed the threshold point of diminishing returns to keep a machine on them. Its too difficult, and with a properly customized and tweaked image you can get comparable performance from Win 10.

Add a teaspoon of "im too old for this sh*t" and 3 ounces of "i just dont give a f..k anymore".

After looking into two years of unpatched exploits, Im not even swayed by windows 7, you would be better off staying at windows 10 or 11

W7 is updated, just take the 10 min. to figure out BypassESU. 12 months from now, it will be unpatched.

Update 2021.11.05: For Windows 7 SP1 and Windows 7 Professional for Embedded Systems, the Extended Security Update (ESU) Program will be entering its third and final year of extended support beginning on February 8, 2022 and ending on January 10, 2023. Source.

Two remaining years of updates for x64 systems :)
Code:
For Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1, Windows Server 2008 SP2, Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 for Embedded Systems and Windows Server 2008 SP2 for Embedded Systems if running on Microsoft Azure, ESU will have one additional year of extended support available beginning on February 14, 2023, ending on January 9, 2024.
I hope they will continue in x86 updates too, as Server 2008 SP2 is still x86 and updates can be installed on Vista. So Vista continue in updates until same date :D

MS stopped playing whack-a-mole with BypassESU (v11). It's sturdy now. You still can't integrate ESU updates, so it's sysprep or post-setup patching for anything past the EOL integrated image. Small annoyance considering it's got one year left of updates.

Have you got a link for BypassESU please.

Wont be a problem for a lot of determined people who would rather poke an eye out than use 10 or 11.
