Installing Windows 7 on AMD Socket AM4 (Gigabyte B450M DS3H)

thank us when the bloody thing has installed and not before. dont tempt fate, dont count your chickens before they have hatched, you might still be FoL.

No I was thanking you for the effort, win lose or draw!

Also i just went to your link for W7 ISO, im not seeing a place to DL it. Just says support for his product has ended.
If you have it, can you put up a DL link through dropbox or something else like that?

Yup, i grabbed Pro.
Now, I feel as though i just lost about 20 IQ points, I cant get the new ISO to load into NTLite. Add image or image directory neither see the file in the folder its in. What am I missing aside from meaningful sleep since Thursday :)

OK, sorry to sound a bit dense, but, im not sure why\how that explains why NTLite isnt seeing it\able to bring it in

Also, i am a novice at this, I used this tool or one like it forever ago in the XP days once, thats it, so as an FYI, I am not sure what I am doing if it is something beyond face value.

Order of priorities: download SP1 release, add drivers and test boot. Worry about W7 updates later. No point adding updates if you can't get a bootable image.

1. Download W7 SP1 image.
2. Extract ISO file to local folder using 7-Zip, or your favorite archive tool.
3. Load folder in NTLite. Add drivers.
4. From Apply screen, expand Reapply tasks across editions -> Integrate - Drivers -> check boot.wim Windows Setup
5. Apply. create ISO.
6. Use Rufus or another USB creation tool to make bootable USB image. Check everything in BIOS and USB tool is set for MBR (legacy BIOS).
7. If USB image boots, but doesn't finish all the way -- it's drivers. Keep searching for matching drivers by scouring websites with "Windows 7 [chipset]".

Agreed. Try to burn to dvd if you can, if usb wont boot mebbe dvd will provided its an internal drive, a usb dvd drive may have the same boot problems.

If he manages to get 7 installed update it with kb3125574 at a minimum, from personal experience it helps make the install more stable

Oh joy, you got iso issues now and im just about to be off for the night.
I will leave you to sort out the iso issues and i will carry on as if you dont have iso issues.
Follow the "interesting stuff" link in my signature, look for iso downloads, there will be official(direct from MS) and unofficial links(other places), ideally you want a SP1-U iso, the U standing for media refresh iso.

I have extracted the drivers from AMD_Chipset_Software_Win7_2.17.25.506(got direct from amd).
Add them to install.wim and boot.wim - microsoft windows setup, save = Apply. Install.

Taosd is on Ryzen 5 5600 and A529 mobo, what os you use toad?
