I started to do myself modification of Windows 10 Pro. Problem what I got is when I add updates and drivers do system - to big image. I give NTlite makes ISO after that I use Rufus. Rufus devides my usb on two partition in nfts files, after this I can't boot from this iso Windows 10. Than I have to delete these partinions.
Why the image is to big ?
Updates I have only 3 to .125 Windows 10 version. All drivers in inf.
I need to my system usb in Fat32.
Any advice for newer user NTlite ? :)

Regards

The image grows when it gets updated.

I prefer to use WinSetupFromUSB, listed here.

If you need to work with FAT32 USB drive, try the option SWM to split the image, try to split the first by more than half of the full size image as split image is not supported officially in Win 8 - 10.

Venosaur, easiest to reduce ISO size is to use the ESD compression on the Apply page - Image tasks
That already should be enough to reduce the final image size, if not, then Updates - Clean Updates in the toolbar.
And removing these components, they are external to the install.wim, will not change final Windows:
"Support directory"
"Manual feature repository"
"Manual Setup" (if you just boot from the stick and not run setup.exe)
Will split those in the next version to their own section.

Using ESD compression doesnt make it so it needs to be decompressed to install? How much does it affect the speed of the installation? (SSD and USB 3.0)

ESD same like WIM is a compression format for Windows installation files, just higher compression rate.
They are both used the same during install.

I haven't noticed any slowdown from ESD during install, also if you download an ISO from Microsoft using the Media Download tool for Windows 10, it's also in ESD.

Only downside is that it takes a long time to compress, and if editing ESD it must be converted to WIM first.
If you create a new image from the original with each Cumulative Update, as you should as it's not recommended to pile on update over update, then this downside when editing does not apply.

So How is the best ? using Media Download tool and ESD or ISO - Windows 10 ? What You mean :"to pile update over udpate"?

Take original, clean ISO from Microsoft before every reinstall.
Download latest Cumulative Update here (click release date column to sort), after adding the file to NTLite-Updates page, press Analyze in the toolbar to see which Servicing stack/requirement might be needed.
Apply, with ESD compression enabled.

Piling update over update would be if next month you needed to reinstall and you take that same image and integrate newer cumulative update before installing.
It is better to start over as described in this topic, since NTLite preset remembers all else you did, it's the same amount of time, only cleaner.

I discovered today that if your working folder and our source folder is the same, the program will grab everything in the folder include previous ISOs that you saved in the folder. I created two ISOs today and when I tried to create the third, the third was over 16gb and the program crashed. I mounted the 16gb ISO and discovered the other two ISOs. Newbee here myself.

Never use the source dir as your Temp dir, all the files in the source dir will be added to the ISO.

nuhi can add to NTLite new builds the temp dir detection and if the source is the same as the temp dir, disable loading the image and ask to change one or the other.
