Issue with Microsoft Text Input Application Running on New Installs

Every Iso I create on the latest version of NTlite has Microsoft Text Input Application running after install. This is sketching me out because this program is known as Microsoft's "Secure" Keylogger.

I have several ISOs backed up on another hard drive along with the associated presets. When I install those ISOs there is not Microsoft Text Input Application running after install but when I recreate using my backed up preset I have Microsoft Text Input Application running after install. Its really weird...Is there a way for me to download the prior version of NTlite to see if the issue persist on those versions?

Please remove the tin foil hat. Microsoft Text Input Application is not a key logger, it's part of the Client.CBS framework for UWP apps to interact with non-keyboard input devices like writing tablets, touchscreens, and the on-screen keyboard.

The web has many wrong "solutions" for disabling TextInputHost, but they often cause more problems -- because frankly people have no clue what it does, and what they're doing. Text Input Application is part of the modern W10/11 desktop.

Nothing has changed in NTLite with regards to this process. If you look in the recent Changelog, there is no mention of "Input".

Most tech writers have zero reading comprehension. The Windows Privacy Compliance guide (as mandated by the EU's GDPR) states what data will be collected, and your options.

Diagnostics, feedback, and privacy in Windows
If you choose to turn on the Improve inking & typing setting, Microsoft will collect samples of the content you type or write to improve features such as handwriting recognition, autocompletion, next word prediction and spelling correction, and we use this data in the aggregate to improve the inking and typing feature for everyone who uses Windows. When Microsoft collects inking and typing diagnostic data, it is divided into small samples and processed to remove unique identifiers, sequencing information, and other data (such as email addresses and numeric values) which could be used to reconstruct the original content or associate the input to you. It also includes associated performance data, such as changes you manually make to text, as well as words you've added to the dictionary. This data is not used for Tailored experiences.

"If you choose to turn on the Improve inking & typing setting"...

I have inking and typing disabled so I have no idea why it is running. Again my backups do not have MS text input applications running in task manager after install and any new isos I create on the latest version NTlite do. It doesn't make sense...

Because I am using backups I want to say that the only variable at play to the best of my knowledge is the version of NTlite itself. So while I would like to believe the Issue is on my end, without access to the prior version of NTlite to troubleshoot I am kinda stuck.

You can find older NTLite versions on the Wayback Machine, or one of the File [animal] sites.

nuhi doesn't keep older versions, because he doesn't believe in spending more time on investigating an issue which may have been fixed.

I tried this did but the download link is the same between version changes so the latest version still gets downloaded.

At this point I isolated the variable down to NTLite. It is either a bug with the latest version of NTLite or virus that is somehow modifying all ISOs while attempting to compile them with NTLite on my machine.

EDIT: Found a copy of the prior version NTlite from a third party site and verified with the checksum on waybackmachine. I'll try recompliling my preset and let you know if the issue persist. If it does the issue is on my end, if not it is a bug with the latest version of NTlite.

Confirming the issue is only appearing with ISOs compiled using the latest version of NTlite. So the latest build is bugged, at least for me.

What are your removals?
Issue occurs using the GamerOS preset linked below. I am applying the preset to LTSC 2021. When applied using the latest version I have MS text input application running after install, when applied using NTlite version 2023.7.9371 that application does not run after an install.
