JAR file isn't opening in Windows 10 21H1 build 19043.844

Hi,

I recently made a 21H1 ISO (by adding all the EP+latest v844 CU+SSU) & clean install in a system & installed the latest Java JRE 8 Build 281, but the JAR file in not opening, while it was fine on that same system that was running on Win10 20H2.804 build.

So asking here if anyone, who've made a 21H1 ISo via NTL & clean installed in a system, can confirm whether executable JAR files are opening or not?

maybe file assosiation have problems. because if u succesfully installed java. then there should be no problem at running a jar file. u may try installing java both x64 and x86

FYI, I installed both x64+x86 version of the latest Java JRE 8 Build 281 in 21h1.844, but the issues persisted, I eventually uninstalled & again reinstalled those 2/3 times more but the same result.

Lastly, I download a small tool JARFix & that fixed the issue.

IDK what really happened & is this something related to the 21h1 ISO branch or anything related to custom made ISO via NTL, but this is the first time I faced such an issue.

Anyway, the problem is fixed now but I will keep my eye open & in future if this same happen, I will be reverting & update here
