apparently after this update, you can only vm it if you have TPM 2

IF you dont have tpm 2, then thats the last of the testing you can do on it, and you wont be eligable for the free win 11 upgrade next month
 
This rules out Virtual Box, but still works for VMware and Hyper-V.
I can't see how a bypass will survive, since MSFT would patch it out over and over to justify their TPM stance.

it was meant as a IF i go for 11. personally i run a system till the whole computer is at least 10 yrs out of date. think im one of the last people around still using ddr3. up until 2 yrs ago, i was using ddr2 .............

but i know exactly what you mean. its a bit like the advert they use ' a dog is not just for xmas its for life.......... ' but in my case ' a computer is for life, not just an OS '

I would say... Wait for DDR5 and next gen GPU. Also GPU prices are funny nowadays.

ddr5, high latency, look it up. gpu prices funny? they are beyond a joke.
actually ram and gpu prices are laughable at times. all it takes is for a mouse to fart somewhere in the world and prices skyrocket.
im tired of bs excuses for price increases

What bs excuses do you talking about?
Step on an ant is not a joke and a good reason to increase prices.

Anyway if DDR5 having higher latency Im actually happy, couse I can skip this generation then.
 
good job im no gamer or overclocker, 2400 and 2666 is what my stuff uses, 8gb Ballistix for around £37. i fell off my chair when i saw crucials prices for faster ram.

Im a competitive LoL player and Im so crazy I can spend more money if legit test says 1ms less lag if you use this instead of that.

My girlfriend's PC parts arrived 2 weeks ago but we can't get the RAM we choose so we need to pick another one. So this time I picked "G.SKILL RIPJAWSV 3200MHZ 16GB - F4-3200C14D-16GVK". This arrived today.
This will be my first CL14 RAM I see IRL and Im excited to see how it perform next to a R7 3800X and RTX 2070. The funny part is she have better PC than me. :D
This was a huge purchase but the next thing I wanna buy is NTLite and Sony Vegas. So I need to wait a little. :D Maybe both get cheaper during holiday time.
