Make Win8.1 explorer.exe run on Windows 10 ?

is it possible to make ? first of all
or use x64dbg to reduce handles and modules
or maybe tweaks ?

any advise are welcome

I dont know if kludging explorers will work because ive never tried it. Explorer isnt the problem, 10 has so much else going on, shutting that lot up gives good to great results, depending on how far you can go. Removals and/or Tweaks are the way to go. Post no25 shows the handles threads and processes of a lightly tweaked w7, getting 10 anywhere near that will be very hard work but not impossible. :cool:

Was having a chat with pmikep about handles threads and processes on his 1903 build, over 30,000 handles(he did add WMC) and just adding intel igpu driver did push my ltsc handles to 32,000 at 1 point. which is completely unnaceptable when you compare that to the w7 task manager grab in my link above. If you can get handles down by half(at least) thats good going, 10 is a different beast to 7 and 8.1.
