Minor bugs

Hi, i have some minor bugs:
1. I get this error from screenshot on LTSC install, however on 1903 i don't get it.
2. File explorer shortcut on taskbar is missing on LTSC, i have to add it manually, however on 1903 its not missing.
3. On both i cant enter Settings\Accounts\Access work or school (something i removed but idk what), settings just closes without any error.
4. On 1903 Home i cant enable gpedit.msc.
5. On 1903 windows security icon from start menu doesn't get removed after doing remove reinstalls, also the same with Remote tab from system proprieties.
6. About Dism++ error from the other thread, on LTSC i don't get it. However DISM ResetBase works.

Sorry i repeated myself on the last 2 from the other thread but i figured i start a new thread since windows update problem has been solved.
Both presets are the same with removed apps, store, edge from 1903.
Thanks.

Thanks for the detailed report, I'm on it, will reply when done, potentially today.

1. It's Azure Active Directory removal, and only if no using Unattended (skip Online user) and if machine is connected to the internet.
Please keep it until fixed or use Unattended to skip the popup.

2. Confirmed, will check why.

3. Fixed in next, was Mobile Device Management (MDM), will send you a pre-release link when others are fixed.

4. Will check

5. Confirmed, will fix.

6. That is now outside of the scope, you could send me compressed host C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\cbs.log at the moment of the error.

Continuing tomorrow, thanks.

Ok. Thanks. Here is the cbs log.
Another thing i noticed after updating to latest beta, that after loading a preset with overwrite, all settings from User Account Control(UAC) tab can be only toggled between Enabled or Disabled no Default option. I didn't modify any settings here before but 2 are disabled, 1 on default and the rest enabled. Also Allow Telemetry from Privacy gets toggled to Enhanced and i remember setting it on Security(on LTSC preset).

1. Fixed, will send it in a PM.

2. That's by default in LTSC, just spent a few hours testing presets for nothing by not recalling that basic fact :)
There is some talk about it here.

4. By enable you mean start? Haven't gotten to check this task yet.

6. Log reports missing "Microsoft-Windows-WPD-LegacyWmdmFeature-Feature-WOW64-Deployment-LanguagePack", while the tool's engine does not remove it with this preset - Check the potential Feature config via DISM which may have done it, the Windows Media player disabling, try without it, or any Feature on Demand disabling to test it for. Not sure what Dism++ does so it's just a guess.

4. Win 10 home edition doesn't have Gpedit.msc enabled, so this .bat installs gpedit.msc, the install files are:
Microsoft-Windows-GroupPolicy-ClientExtensions-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~en-US~10.0.18362.1.mum
Microsoft-Windows-GroupPolicy-ClientExtensions-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~10.0.18362.1.mum
Microsoft-Windows-GroupPolicy-ClientTools-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~en-US~10.0.18362.1.mum
Microsoft-Windows-GroupPolicy-ClientTools-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~10.0.18362.1.mum

But this 2:Microsoft-Windows-GroupPolicy-ClientTools-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~en-US~10.0.18362.1.mum, Microsoft-Windows-GroupPolicy-ClientTools-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~10.0.18362.1.mum are missing when i run the .bat file.
I got the .bat file from here: https://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/group_policy_editor_for_windows_10_home_edition.html

Using the latest beta and i think this bug is gone with this preset, i didnt have Dism++ error.
Also i get these 2 errors, 1st one when applying changes to image and removing stuff and 2nd one during remove reinstalls feature.
Also there is a blank space in right click menu that doesn't get removed after using remove reinstalls.

Hi,

good.

Regarding the error 87 on driver removal, please redownload the build 7046, it was silently fixed.
Not a big deal if you don't want to reinstall.

Regarding the blank space, so I just update to the latest CU after installing to see it, or you're saying the remove returns left it, before that was something written from the removed component?

Thanks.

Hi, i found out it was Restore previous version menu entry written there, wich is related to file history i think, wich i removed.
So the latest CU must bring it back and remove returns doesn't remove it completely.

Any news on this?

On another Remove Reinstals leftovers.
So i've used 18362.239 Pro and updated with .266 CU. After running Remove reinstals some components still remain:
Xbox App, XboxgamecallableUI, NarratorQuickStart, MobilePC, Trusted Platform Module(TPM), Remote Desktop Server, Offline Files, Payments and NFC/SE manager, Windows Mail Communication DLL, Speech Api, Floppy Disk. There may be more but these i remember removing.

Please let me know if the new version (build 7115+) is any better. But you have to make the initial image with it for it to make a difference.

Thanks.

nuhi, the change log says "Components: Windows 7 and 8.1 removal sizes increased when using Windows Update compatibility", do you mean the final install size increased?

Improved removals, made it more clear, let me know if still unredable.

Thanks.

Thanks, much better now with build 7115. But there are still remaining stuff. I hope you can manage to remove all in future versions.

I'm getting this error when i'm trying to install latest CU on LTSC, SSU and .Net updates installed fine.
And in 1903 the latest CU installed fine.

Edit. Nevermind, apparently the CU was corrupted.

I think i have a minor problem/bug. I can't access advanced startup in order to enter safe mode, on this preset. I get a blank screen. I don't remember having this problem before. This happens on 1903 and 1909, i didn't tested on LTSC yet.
