Multiple Issues On NTLite v1.9.7517

Mr. nuhi,

I attempting to create a updated ISO with Windows 7 SP1 Home Premium and Professional together. The wim 3: Windows 7 Home Premium was loaded first. All issues are concerning the Apply Page.

Issue 1: The install wim 4: Windows 7 Professional section is above the install wim 3: Windows 7 Home Premium section. This is purely aesthetic issue but probably be better to have it in numerical order.

Issue 2: After all updates are integrated without issues, the button turn green and done is displayed, the next item "Read updated data" appears not to run. I say this because the button turns blue and the percent indicator shows 0%. However the program continues unimpeded until the box pops up to begin work on Professional version.

Issue 3: All updates are skipped when Integrating Updates in install wim 4: Windows 7 Professional. As a test, I loaded install wim 4: Windows 7 Professional first and as expected all updates in wim 3: Windows 7 Home Premium were skipped.

Issue 4: The same as issue 2 concerning "Read updated data" happen here also. The program does finish to completion.

Thanks for looking into this.

Hi,

1) Indeed, that can happen if Professional was already mounted, ok, correcting.

2 & 4) Yes, that was silently fixed and reuploaded as the same version about 12 hours after the release. You can redownload and reinstall.
Thanks for reporting, could have missed it.

3) Oh! Fixing now, new release public, let me know how it goes.
The stuck progress and this was due to the reread optimizations introduced in the last update.

3 for 3, appreciated.

Thank you Mr Nuhi for your corrections.

The "Read updated data" section now says "Done" and the button has turned green so that is corrected.

While the "Integrate - Updates" on the second wim appears to be working there is still one issue. The message in the status bar states "Integrating KBXXXXXXX" but the blue button and progress bar are on the KB that is two KB's above that one. Subsequently the last two KB in the list are blank, ie. no green dot and no "done". I believe this is just cosmetic as all the KBs are integrated.

If you could correct that we should be good to go.

Thanks again.

Thanks for the feedback.

Does that happen only on the subsequent tasks, like a second image - never on the first one being processed?
In that case the reason is that some updates for Win7 are post-setup only, and those are skipped as they are already copied to the common post-setup execution with the first edition.
Will correct that in the next update, not urgent and it is safe to ignore.

No this is the first image and for the record never happened in previous versions. None of the updates in the Updates section are post-setup only.

Just to be clear the Windows 7 SP1 Home Premium portion runs without incident but when it gets to the Windows 7 SP1 Professional part the "issue" happens.

Just to clarify, it appears to be cosmetic as all the updates are integrated but wanted you to have the full picture.

Thank you.

Mr Nuhi,

Just noticed something and I wanted to give one more piece of information on this new issue.

When integrating the first update of the Windows 7 SP1 Professional part, the "green dot", processing bar and done message shows on the "ISO files" line of the Windows 7 SP1 Home Premium portion on the Apply page. The second update shows on the "install.wim line"of Windows 7 SP1 Professional portion, the third on the "Integrate - Updates" line and so on.

Hope this explains this a little clearer and helps you in correcting it.
