My lightweight project and some stepbacks to resolve

Hello everyone,
I am using NTLite for the first time (after decades of nlited WinXPs), and my first two tries creating a shrinked, updated, disabled and deleted M$WinUNFeatures as like Defender/AV, XBox
Garbage, VR, One/Cloud, Callback Update, WaaSMedicService, SoftwareProtection annoying my nerves stuff Security-Center Mobile/Phone Firewall Search Cortana and Complaining about restarts and other garbage... etc. pp
just give me a modern XP like lightweight OS with some useful tools for Officing picture (gimp and paint.NET)- and audiomanipulation (ffmpeg flac lame and on ) and Gaming (Steam, GoG, offline/retro, Discord, TS(M$ and some other plattforms) as like just watching some video content from competent creators podcasts and music and demux/convert some vids to my mp3 for hq-offlinelistening...
At the end, i dont want to use any windows updates NEVER, i disable them completely, already integrated the latest in the build and thats it, till to the next build in over a year++. But i want to use that Microsoft Store (choclate) stuff, which i long time used in the ubuntu world like apt-get install x z y on powershell/Git for Win conemu and all the relating runtimes), so on... So there is a lot of finetuning in the services (and some did not work again), to get rid of all the unused bloating UI-stuff, ripp the build to its barebone, Maybe i am using the (or a improved) windows (2000 classic) theme without all the bling bling which looks nice but overcomfort my eyes.
What i want is a complete sorrow free and remote free windows which does what i want but not "overoptimizing" to get rid of some core features (my PC-> properties^^:View attachment 10765

Now the problems; with installation, the first "version" of that try was just in the beginning of the setup It could not read the answer file of the unattended setup, where Localication etc. was stored. I did not go over the VM-Try, i just need to restart the PC and try the new "version" on an empty drive and the 2nd one could not read the
 
Are you using the correct boot settings (UEFI vs. MBR)? Your post doesn't have a lot of specific details on what you changed.
Please attach your preset (after removing any user passwords or license key).
 
Yeah, i used UEFI. Saved Image, WIM and created an ISO which i put on an usb stick via unetbootin.
It booted and started (no unattended)
6th time, all nearly same presets, now without unattended, vim.jpg
and again and again, WIM dont work, ESD Compression wont work and now swm is missing, but now its too late, so i go on tomorrow.

If you're not using Rufus, then it's probably a problem reading the NTFS filesystem with the UEFI bootloader. I would use Rufus instead.
 
Rufus or Etcher or whatever might help (mkusb) or maybe its just the 32 GB USB-Stick corrupted... the stick itself is fat32, does not matter.
 
Or as most often seen - a formatting problem.
Ventoy is just drag'n'drop install image after formatted with 32 MB space needed on a bootable USB and can be updated without compromising any other file on the USB.
Depending on the size of Boot USB - it's recommended to edit ventoy.json to look in a specific folder for install images like .Wim to boot or just wait as Ventoy scan all bootable files on a Ventoy formatted USB attached and presenting them in an overview for selection.

Watched a YT video on Ventoy at the weekend, i like that you can load it up with many different iso's, windows and linux, and you to select which one you want to boot from, imagine the fun you can have with a 128gb or 2565gb pen drive :D

2565gb pen drive yes lots of fun
 
Most fun on a 1 or 2 TB drive where space can be used for synchronizing files between PC's/ Laptops instead of sell yr soul to MS OneDrive/ Account.
