Hello everyone, need some help & assistance. Now that the recent 19H1 ISO released, I've downloaded the EN UK x64 Consumer ISO & using latest NTLite 1.8.0.6842 BETA version to customise it.

Firstly, I'd like to ask/know that if I integrate the CU KB4495666 v18362.53 & Flash KB4493478 in this ISO to make it from .30 to .52, would it break anything, especially the WSUS service?

And I've some general twice queries that am going to point one by one here, my first preference is NTLite in-built option (if any), and if there isn't any then kindly suggest me registry tweaks (by adding reg files via NTLite)

Any NTLite inbuilt option or reg tweak to (Windows Settings related)

1. Set the desktop icon default setting to the 'small icon' instead 'medium icon'? Already tried many reg files earlier but none worked till date in Win10

2. Uncheck both 'Show App List & 'Show Recently added apps' under the Setting/Personalisation/start option?

3. Turn on the 'Show Acc Details on sign-in screen' under the Setting/Accounts/Sign-in Options?

4. Turn on the 'Automatically Processed Video to enhance it' under Settings/Apps/Video Playback?

5. Turn On System Restore for the system (C) drive by default with pre-fixed usage/space allocation i.e. 5% of the C Drive or 5GB?

6. Schedule the 'Night light' under Settings/Display/Night Light settings?

7. Delete unwanted/unnecessary preinstall fonts from the Win10 ISO? (I think it's a paid feature in NTLite, correct me if I'm wrong)

Any NTLite in-built option or reg tweak to pre-configure these OOBX setups so it won't ask or these options don't appear while installing

1. Keep the Activity History= NO / DISABLE BY DEFAULT
2. OneDrive= NO / DISABLE BY DEFAULT
3. Setting the PIN (I presume it might not be possible to integrate this feature via NTLite, or is it?)
4. Set Cortana= NO / DISABLE BY DEFAULT
5. Set PC usage (Personal/Organization)= PERSONAL

P.S: I am sharing my PRESET.XML so that you can see what're the options the I already configured. You can check it and kindly share if that's needs to be modified or any other suggestion.

So, in a nutshell, it's a NO, at least for now, to integrate any CU in 1903 ISO, & we must wait until nuhi release a new version with general/generic fix right? Pls correct me if I'm wrong to assume.

And I quite don't understand the matter of Kernel Debugger removal (kdnic.inf), if someone simplifies that for me, 'd be appreciated.
Also, anything about those settings especially windows settings that I mentioned is possible via any NTlite inside settings tweak or adding a reg file? I understand that tweaking those OOBX settings might not be even possible as of now, but tweaking those Windows settings are possible via registry tweak & adding those file in NTlite

Probably you can integrate it without cleanup but there would be too much left.

kdnic is a driver for debugging and would be crucial as ms is creating more dependencies between components.

I don't know if the listed settings are in NTLite as I haven't tested 1903.

As I wrote earlier, I just Dl the EN UK ISO & only add CU KB4495666 v18362.53 & Flash KB4493478 in this ISO to make it from .30 to .52, didn't do any other thing or cleanup. IDK what's the cleanup you're talking about, never used, probably it's cleaning the earlier update & I believe this feature isn't available in my free version.

So, I've already made the ISO, shared my preset as well, you can check that, & yet to deploy/install that in a test machine

beta you mean NTLite beta 1.8.0.6842? I recently used that to customised 1903 MSDN ISO & WSUS seems fine, didn't break anything, though I will be 100% sure when another CU will release & it will install without any problem.

Hi,

the 1903 18362 currently is not supported, you can see the list of supported builds on the bottom of ntlite.com/features page.

However, the support has been upgraded for the next update, just need a bit more time to adapt the new engine to the older Windows versions as well.
Change was substantial, 1903 has a different package structure.

Releasing by Tuesday most probably, let me know if you want to test the pre-release over PM.

that's ok, you just take the time to develop it, but pls note of those features that I suggested to you via PM if implement those if you can. for all of us, the NTLite users.

Sure, tagged it in the Tweaks todo list for consideration. Small icons agreed, especially as it cannot be a pure reg file.

yes, I've tried & tested many reg file & tweaks, none seems to be worked in recent Win10 builds so far, and also, it'd be gr8 if u consider my other tweaking options as well to make NTLite even more powerful.
