I used Rebase CLI tool by scarface long ago on win7 :

Yeah, i had a good ol nose on sevenforums and they all had the same problems i had, disk cleanup looked to be the only option.
Given me good experience with Audit Mode though seeing as i got to redo my 8.1 capture, ive got 170 odd updates to sift through 1 by fikken one to find a bogey ia_100000135.gifia_100000054.gif.

Latest Win 11 optional update KB5012643 22000.652 build resulted in an error that happens in safe mode.
Because it flickers and you can only call up the task manager using the key combination Ctrl + Shift + Esc.
But there is a workaround until Microsoft fixes this bug.
Somebody experimented a bit and if you absolutely have to start in safe mode , you shouldn't press F4 when making a selection, but F5.
The network drivers are loaded via F5 and Windows 11 starts Safe Mode normally and without flickering.

I was cleaning my keyboard and now everything is whiteish... it seems I opened HDR with a keyboard combo nice..

crypticus check your monitor settings(even though you didnt touch it) and your gpu control panel, set everything to default settings. Clean keyboards with power off/disconnected.

When I turn my HP wireless keyboard upside down and whack it 2-3 times, PC suspends. Every single time.
Win-Alt-B -> HDR

Whack it right side up and when all the muck jumps out move it way quick.
I do a quick vacuum with the power off and once a year it gets a teardown and the keybed/top gets a blast with the shower.

I change Keyboard every year or 8-10 months depending upon usage.
But mouse work arround 4-5 years again depends upon usage.
never used wireless keyboard or combo.
Wired keyboard & mouse always doing great at my side.

I don't change my equipment so often, because they are already good and I don't think they improve that much over years.

i change it after some keys stopped working.
in most scenarios shift | alt | k 0r any numerical key.
they stopped working becaise of my hard pressed keys always.
i use keyboard 15|24 . mouse very less.
But i never change brand ie portronics or HP.
if i compare portronics to hp then hp always loose & portronics win for smooth soft working.

I use MS Wired Desktop 600 KB and Rodent bought either as the package(£19.00) or individually, i dont need anything better. Got a couple of sets, keep for 3 years or a bit longer. Hardware i need to help cope with arthritis isnt availible and what little there is out there looks like its made by Fisher-Price .

i'm back and whoa......

ok long story short. mosfets blew on my old am3 motherboard. so knackers yard for it. had to take the plunge between intel or am4. stuck with the devil i know not the devil i dont, and now on an am4. so now i am in a more than capable area to help with am4 issues and windows 11.got an old am3 board win 10ltsc as backup, so can delve there too

RIP am3+ . only time i change any hardware or keyboards/mice is when it dies on me. still using a kb here i had 10 years ago, and the ironies is, its a cheapy one. always found with names kb's and mice, you pay more for the name, not the product

I went intel 8/9th gen after fm2+, ryzen was a no no from the start. Amd gave windows 7 the finger and i gave amd the spanish archer. Happy on Intel.
