Not so much a report as I dont know how to report, IE11 install hang?

Hey guys, Ive been sat with the progress like this now for a good hour. Is the IE11 update feature not meant to be used on Windows 7 or something?

I am seeing idle CPU and almost idle Disk activity, not sure what log I should share to help with possible issues? Can somebody let me know which log to upload exactly?

Project previously tested, its just an official Win7 SP1 ISO which I previously removed ei.cfg and updated with April2016 convenience rollup.

The mouse is left with the loading icon, just to mention as my screenshots exclude mouse. I will try next, to install Platform Update by itself and save, reload and then attempt IE11 by itself. I know its not a clash of updates issue as KB2670838 is not related to April Convenience update, that said, I guess I should have included this first before the said cumulative update however it should not make a difference. As I remember installing this platform update late on in life on a couple of systems.

Cancel selected, NTLite indicates cleaning however no evidence of change in system resources.

Update: Use the installer from the Windows Update Catalog and work only on a single edition and single update, then it will succeed.

So no integrating updates across multiple editions. It sounds time consuming but it won't be time consuming compared to finding things out the hard way like I have.

For future reference, always post the preset not just the NTLite.log. There are many things which are visible from the preset, and not explained in a screen capture or NTLite.log. This is why it's routinely the first question asked when one isn't shared.

Got you, now I know where the two log files are sitting I will always gather those along with the xml.
