Hey guys, so I decided to update my project. I have added some driver files in which I've already tested on a seperate run, few more post-installs, I did also change some "safe to" component removals and settings etc...
Now the config does not seem to have updated to reflect all of the changes even though they completed, the new ISO output was actually smaller than the previous and even bearing in mind that I probably removed a miniscule of junk the post installers alone, never mind the additional drivers would warrant a bigger new ISO.
Anyway so, here is the catch. During my inital progress, I just began the job when a one lightning strike cam about 3km away. At the exact same time as this, I was greated with my first BSOD on this machine. I checked the dump file integrity, it was fine, I ran memory tests and CHKDSK, all fine.
I loaded NTLite back up, the edition was no longer loaded but it was still mounted, I thought it would be the safer option to UNMOUNT WITHOUT SAVING CHANGES. Then I repeated the job all over again without any issues, until, ofcourse I tried to install from boot. I can make it to setup boot wim, I make it through just fine until the mid auto reboot. Then I am told that something needs repairing, starting in normal mode does not work.
As daft as this sounds, Ive got a previous ISO which is still carrying the same checksum as I recorded for it. Can I import that and work on it or doesnt NTLite like to use edited ISO's?
I am thinking this lightning strike has done something very strange. While we just got one strike in my local town (exact same time as my BSOD), just 15 minutes late a town which is about 150km away had many strikes and apparently some young boy has died because of it. Crazy times!!!
Peace and safe wishes to you all!
