Sure, check the Settings page for some, like search box, cortana and task view button.
Those that are not listed, are removable, but that is then removing the component as well, read the warning on the components page on first visit.

Let me know if I misunderstood the question.

Thanks.

Does this answer your question :3

I use openshell. I remove most store, cortana, etc components. Disabling" search from task bar "automatically is possible, but is also a right click.
As far as the components involved:
notifications, the store, people, cortana, mail, internet explorer, all are removable.

Hi,
Below is the link to the MS method that works perfectly in Win10 1709 onwards to remove most of the icons/buttons:
Configure Windows 10 taskbar. No need to remove any components from the image.
To remove the task view icon, you need to add the following reg key:
Code:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced
ShowTaskViewButton=0
And for the search bar:
Code:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Search
SearchboxTaskbarMode=0
Regarding the action pane button, I doubt that is removable.

nuhi,

Do you consider implementing this ability to add start and taskbar layout mods xml in the future version?
It would be nice to have it from within the gui.

Sure is one of the features on the top of the list.
For v1.9 the main one will be ISO read-only and organization support, then we'll see where to next, start menu editor is often requested as well.
