NTLite Setting for disabling install of advertising apps and games

Hi,

Another question about the NTLite settings: How can I prevent the installation of advertising apps and games system-wide

I have the list from this Thread:
https://www.ntlite.com/community/index.php?threads/removing-built-in-apps.366/

Automatic installation of sponsored apps - set to disabled
Automatically install suggested apps - set to disabled
Occasionally show suggestions in start - set to disabled
Pre-installed apps - set to disabled
Pre-installed OEM apps - set to disabled
Show me suggested content in the settings app - set to disabled

On my test system (Virtualbox Win11), Outlook was installed after 1 day of use even though the options above were disabled

When I use the above settings, w10privacy still shows that the installation of advertising apps and games is not prevented system-wide, but only for logged in users.

How can I prevent the installation system-wide in NTLite?

The short answer is remove Content Delivery Manager, and no more suggested partner content is downloaded. You will lose the Spotlight wallpaper images. But it's easier than managing all those settings (which are owned by CDM).

Edge, OneDrive, Teams, Outlook for Windows, and Dev Home are pushed by Windows Update during OOBE setup.

You can read the Outlook & Dev Home thread.
