Bonjour,

Please post in english

Good morning,
I have a problem due to the desire to install the office suite post-installation.
I have already seen topics on this subject but no prospect of improvement given the complexity of my situation.
Let me explain: I want to install office post-installation of windows except that I cannot use the LTLC version because my company uses unique keys and not volume keys. Basically I use the ProPlus2021Retail ISO but in fact this one freezes at around 70% and when I force the process to stop and the pc restarts the software is installed correctly but it interrupts my script. I have already tried to watch with OCT but as it only offers LTLC or 365 versions it does not suit my needs. Can you help me please?

As a rule, Office does hang at certain times as it installs. Is this an issue with an NTlite build or just in general ?

I would run your Office deployment on a normal (not modded) Windows, and compare results.

What is your post-setup command? Normally it's "setup.exe /configure office.xml" from the install folder.

No, precisely, I do not go through an .xml file because I do not install a mass version or a 365 version.
Linked to my professional constraint, I have to install unique keys and therefore by the files of an ISO, that of ProPlus2021Retail.

so what you are saying is then, this is not an ntlite issue but an office issue with a script you have used and somehow has broken the install ?

xml is not exclusive to mass installs or 365 alone. they have been around for years for unattended installs. what i think you fail to understand is, is that the key is not iso specific. it is checked with microsoft to authenticate validity. There is an issue with something and without further information, like preset without keys and login details, it will be hard to resolve

So actually, I thought that the installation of office with the xml file only concerns mass licenses and 365 but this is not the case, I will try that way I managed to extract my desired version with the xml with the right argument, thank you garlin your site helped me a lot, sorry for the inconvenience.
I'll let you know if it works :)

Good morning,
This is to give you some news, it doesn't work....
When I launch the installation in file with the xml file with the command "setup /configure configuration.xml" during the post-installation this one runs infinitely ...
I tried with YAOCTRI, Same installation hangs at 70% as with ISO... I really don't know what to do...

I installed ProPlus2021Retail from the ODT download.
When run from the desktop, "setup.exe /configure" doesn't exit until you click on the Close button. Which means it's not fully unattended.

There are two options:
1. Run setup.exe from Post-Setup (Machine) with <Display Level="None" AcceptEULA="TRUE" />
With no visible interface, Office setup will finish by itself. But you have to wait for Office to install before seeing the desktop.
2. Run setup.exe from Post-Setup (User) with <Display Level="Full" AcceptEULA="TRUE" />
With a visible interface, you can watch it install. But you must quit Setup when the final screen is displayed.

I understand what you're saying, unfortunately it's not my concern, what happens is that the post-installation installation of Windows freezes at around 70% for 1 hour then at 90% for 30min, as if something slowed down the installation in post-install (When I launch the same installation once the user is loaded, it takes around 3 minutes..)
