1809 is due in september/august and that may give the improvements you need.
Hmm i'm not too keen with updating versions,
Its doesnt always make things better.. i'd prefer finding one version thats actually working and stick with it... If 1803 is still causing performance issues then maybe ill try 1809

I dont know what build that test is from but i would be interested what the results would be on xp and w7. Why do ya think im sticking with 7, i only gave up xp 2 years ago.

Whatever build you use look at the following, services, scheduled tasks, power options including disabling core parking, use ryzen master to tweak your apu.

Can't agree more with that,, win 10 has been a headache,
i have older client with win 7 installation and the performance is way better..
Unfortunately, almost all newer specs forces us to go win 10..

i will have a look at core parking,
I have only disabled Core performance boost from BIOS, but it still doesn't fix the issue

Here's the lag issue that has been bugging my clients
2400G, windows 10 1803
8 GB ram

it could be a diskless setup issue,
but after disabling bunch of services and windows updates (it came back again even with windows update killer)
The lag seems to be decreasing,
so i'm gonna do whatever is possible from the image side to optimize the performance.

Why do ya think i kept using xp compatible hardware that im using right now, amd godavari, 1 cpu and 2 apu's, because they are good performers? actually then aint bad but,,,, and its why i want to run ryzen, because it runs w7.

Raven Ridge is ryzen 1.5, thats what lisa su said it would be. The acpi issue why it wont run w7 and its not soldered. Look at a RR delidded, the actual die is shorter than a cpu, theres a bump inside the ihs where the paste is, cpus dont have that bump. Lack of pci lanes and connectivity, no solder, must use w10, i wouldnt touch RR with a bargepole. Shame because the a8 7600 and a10 7890k are decent. :( I got 8 sata ports on an fm2+ board, ryzen can only manage 6 at most ffs and 4 on most b450 boards.

denywinarto I had to update my 1607 preset so im doing the 3 builds 1 at a time. 1607 is being finalised as i type and will finished tonight so i can go to 1709 tomorrow. They will be public once 1803 is ready but i will upload and password protect 1709 for you once its done.
Alright got it appreciate it clanger :)
I have a feeling 1709 is more stable than 1803,
if you google 1803 youll find many people complain about dropping performance

You will get 6.2gb installed with an untouched and not updated iso. Obiously that figure will grow once you update it and ms have slipped in new features etc, i cant factor those in because you cant update a w10 image from a w7 host.

2018-08-22.zip uploaded. Pack contains "some" of my older archived work for windows 7 and windows 10 1607. Some may be tests, some may be older public releases. I have kept their original file names so if there is a particular preset you wanted you should be able to find it easily.

Warning. Pack contains some Barebone presets. DO NOT use these if you are a newby.
These are intended for experienced users only and have even given them problems. Barebone are written for a very lite offline pc with no networking unless stated in the file name.

3. Mouse Lagging and Beeping Sound
This is another driver-related issue. Following Cumulative Updates KB3140743 and KB3140768, some users reported random mouse lagging, and an equally random beeping sound. The issue was found to get triggered when an Xbox controller is unplugged with certain programs open. However, Microsoft apparently patched the bug in Cumulative Updates KB3147458 and KB3147461, released in early April.

I dont know about gaming lag but when i play dvds with vlc on 1607 the sound is slighlty delayed by a small but noticable amount.

Hi, have you try 1607 LTSB?
I did the first time i bought raven ridge, it causes graphical bugs, has to be 1709 or higher.

Sorry for late reply, ive been monitoring how it goes and apparently its diskless issue, kinda complicated to explain here.. i replaced the one of the server disks and it seems to perform better now. Thanks anyway for looking up to this clanger, i will try integrate this to my next image update

Have a look at the Multimedia topic too. Go for the 2nd option 1st, splitting the 2 services. It helps me learn stuff too.
