Privacy / Diagnostic & Feedback Question

Hi,

i have a Question about Diagnostic & Feedback with the Privacy Setting in NTLite

If i use the NTLite Setting "Privacy" with Windows 11 the whole Menue in Windows Settings-> Data Protection & Security -> Diagnosis & Feedback is gone (i think because of the removed Telemetry Client) ?!?

Does this also remove the complete data transfer of diagnosis and feedback data to Microsoft ?

I ask because I always also use w10privacy and there is an option to deactivate telemetry.

Or is the option of not even installing the telemetry through NTLite even better?

After removing a component, NTLite hides all previous Settings, Tasks and Services related to it because they no longer apply.

Asimov (Telemetry) and CEIP SQM are the two Windows frameworks responsible for collecting data. Some apps might be sending profiling data on their own, but that's a function of the app. Normally, removing components is the best solution to stopping telemetry.

Does it matter to continue using W10Privacy or O&O ShutUp10? No, they may attempt to change reg keys which have no effect, but it will be harmless.

A major problem is installing a Monthly Update can possibly undo (reinstall) Asimov and CEIP components. If you have a licensed NTLite, then perform a remove reinstall after every monthly update, to make sure components stay removed.
