after 1.5 hours of waiting i got a wim file.
when opened with 7zip, i saw the contents i wanted to see
My main system (where i built the image) has a Ryzen 5 3500U, integrated iGPU Vega 8, 8GB RAM (6GB+2GB shared VRAM) and a 512GB SSD
not too old i guess but maybe because it is a mobile (Laptop) CPU?

Try change drive for building the NTlited image - seems to be a storage problem on C: drive, when NTL is doing the "thing".
Example: install NTL as a portable version on D: drive where problaly be more space, and it should work.
NTL work on all CPU's even an Intel 4700 ;-)

I think its pretty hard for that mobile cpu to process these things with 6 gb ram probably 2-3 gb is used by system. so that might also be an issue. 2-3gb ram is not enough

Might be best to do an install of windows then live edit small amounts at a time

Uninstall NTL and install as portable version (can be checked with the options when install - just pay attention to popups) on a drive/ partition where min. 12 gigs is accessible.
A NTL mounted fresh Windows need space from a non NTlited Windows.
Some feel better do few removals at a time on live system - others on WM's (pros) - some on SYSPREPS - it's all depending on how/ or the goal with hardware used.
