hello, i want ask if this is normally, because i dont think so
i take a original iso Win10_2004_German_x64 where i used pro version
with ntlite i deleted 1339 components and on finished it show me this info:
deleted files 31392
hard links 3392,7MB
complete files 2155,6MB
iso files: 251,8MB
with finished iso size 3,1GB

but on virtual machine C: takes without pagefile and swapfile 14,68GB

i deleted how much as possible but 14,68GB is really much
why so much GB left over?

even normal softwares setups etc takes up to x5 storage when they are installed.. because setup files are compressed. and you extract them by installing it. same goes for windows...

if you want to reduce windows installation. enable compact os by typing this to cmd

COMPACT.EXE /CompactOS:always

14GB reduced to 4GB?

you may also try complete cleanup under updates settings in ntlite...
and use reuse driver cache under driver settings in ntlite...

Btw to enable full removals and thus cleanup WinSxS to reduce size drastically, you must disable Servicing Stack compatibility option next time when making an image, and mark Windows Update component for removal.
Will make that a simple switch in the future, depends how and if the user wants to be able to update from the installed Windows.
There are options like Host Refresh to replace Windows Update, and obviously reinstalls.

I'm nearly certain Windows Update is required for Store functionality as well.
