Recurring Live Edit issue.

I keep having a recurring problem with LIve edits on several NTLite builds(inc 6146) and it looks like its a dism problem.

I install my untouched W7 Pro SP1 iso, update with kb3125574 etc(all msu's) then net 462, 2 exe's and 2 cab files, always restarting when prompted, i do not do any cleanups. Then i run NTLite with the Lite Stage1 preset. When i Process, NTLite gives me an error, i close and reboot, hoping dism sorts the issue. Restart and start ntlite again, same issue again. Run the cleanup command with an elevated prompt and i get error 87. I can keep restarting and running ntlite but it keeps happening. Is there a folder and/or registry entry i need to delete, i think there is a CBS Pending reg entry.

I also ran ntlite and just did Clean Update Backup then restarted, no joy.

I want to get this sorted somehow for live edits but if i just update an untouched install then capture the image, i might have a similar problem when loading and liting that captured wim.

You have read this before:
Dism.exe /online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup /ResetBase is only supported by windows 8 and above. Thus I was curious to see that option to enable resetbase. I enabled the option. I then ran CMD (admin mode), and it showed command not recognized.

Aw cmon Kas, you cant expect me to wemember everything :p I had it in mind that dism on w7 isnt great and ive had the problem before and i enjoy a bit of bug hunting(game over man). Ntlite isnt to blame in my opinion but it has still given incorrect/misleading information for the loaded os.

Ive grabbed the .Net471 repack, will give that a tryout later. :)

Repeated with a new install, replaced the 4 .net things with the net471 repack, ran ntlite, success. Have been ussing onepieces .net repacks(for xp) for years with no problem, am happy with this workaround :) but some may want a true fix.
